She told keeping her voice normal as possible, "I don't find it necessary to answer any of your questions, Karan. Please mujhe chodo. Maan mujhe doond raha hoga." She intentionally told about Maan, as she knew that he would leave her. She was right; he left her instantly as if her touch burned him. He told turning away from her, "Ha, isliye tho tum yaha sabse bhagke aayi thi" and told sarcastically, "Ha, tumhara pati tumhe zaroor doondege jo ab tak tumhare aas paas kahi bhi nahi the." Whatever may happen but Piya never took anything against Maan. She told emphasizing every single word she told, "You have no right to tell anything about my husband. Hum dono ke beech mein jo bhi he woh humare beech ki baat he." Karan was definitely hurt by her words but he could not stop himself from returning her words, "Right, I don't have any right to tell about your husband. But I can talk about Maan Singh Khurana, who is my fiancee's ex-boyfriend."

Piya did not tell anything instead she turned to leave. This provoked Karan more. He pulled her back forcefully and she fell hard against his chest. The proximity evoked the long suppressed emotions in both of them, but Piya immediately pulled back and composed herself. Karan asked looking straight into her eyes, "Ek baat mujhe samaj mein nahi aata he Piya. Why are you both so much alike in your ways? Dono ko kisi aur ke feelings ke saath khilwad karna bahut ache se jaante hain. Shayad isliye sab kehthe he ki you both are made for each other. Kaise nahi hoga. Jo tumhare pati ne Geet ke saath kiya woh mein kabhi bhool nahi saktha aur uska anjaam tho tum dono ko bhukathna hi padega."

She looked at him taking all his accusations and told nothing. Her behavior was frustrating Karan; he wanted her to respond, to prove him wrong. Nevertheless, she just looked at him blankly. He told out of his frustration, "Tumhe pata bhi he ki tumhare pati ne Geet ke saath kya kiya tha? Aur usne uski wajhe se usse kya kya nahi sehna pada? Tumhe pata he.." Before he could continue, she told, "Mujhe pata he ki Rehan, Maan aur Geet ka beta he." Karan looked at her shocked but soon it turned to anger and hatred. He told, "Tum dono choot ka sahara lekar zindagi kaise jeete ho? Tumhe sharam aani chahiye aise zindagi jeene mein. Chi.." and left fuming.

As soon as he left Piya fell on her knees, crying. She told, "Kash mein aapko bata pathi, kash mein kisi ko bata pathi apne dil ka dard. Par mein itna khush naseeb nahi hoon. Jisse pyaar ki he usse shaadi nahi kar payi aur jisse shaadi ki woh mujse pyaar nahi kartha. Mein yahi dhua karthi hoon ki aap aur Geet ko zindagi ki saari khushiyan mile." She was startled when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She immediately wiped her tears and looked up to see Geet. She kept her face normal and asked smiling, "Geet, aapko andar hona chahiye tha. Aap yaha kya kar rahi he?" Geet smiled back knowing that Piya is a strong woman like her who can hide her pain easily from others. She told, "Yahi mujhe aapse bhi poochna chahiye. Aap.. yeh aap kuch ajeeb sa lag raha hena.. Tum hi tik he.. Tumhe koi aitraaz nahi hena Piya." Piya liked her instantly. This was the first time they were having a casual talk. She smiled and told, "Mujhe koi aitraaz nahi he Geet. Sahi keh rahi ho tum." Geet continued, "Ha, tho tum yaha kya kar rahi ho? Tumhe sab ke saath andar hona chahiye tha na? Annie tumhe doond rahi thi." Piya told trying to cover up, "Woh mujhe mamma ka call aaya tha. Isliye bahar aa gayi. Aur pata nahi yaha aane ke baad andar aane ka mann nahi kar rahi thi. It is so nice here."

Geet smiled knowing her intentions. She asked, "Tumne sahi kaha Piya, mein bhi aksar yaha aakar baitthi he. Mann bahut jaldi halka ho jatha he." Piya smiled and asked, "Andar chale?" Geet did not want to leave her soon as she had heard Karan shouting at her. She knew that Karan had suffered heartbreak just like her but never thought that it will be Piya. She was sure that there are some missing pieces and she wanted to complete the puzzle. She asked, "Piya, mein ek baat poochna chahthi thi. Agar tumhe aitraaz na ho tho." Piya knew it coming but she nodded her to continue. She told, "Piya, meine tum dono ki baatein sunli. Mujhe pata tha ki Karan loved someone and was betrayed but he never told that it was you." Piya's face showed the hurt and pain while listening to her when Geet continued, "Par jitna mein tumhe jaanthi hoon, mujhe nahi lagtha he ki tum aisa kar sakthi ho. Tumne agar aisa kadam utaya tho zaroor uske peeche koi wajha hogi. Mein tumhare chehre pe chipe hue dard samaj sakthi hoon aur mujhe yeh bhi lagtha he ki tumne kabhi kisise share bhi nahi kiya hoga. Agar tum chahthi ho tho tum mujhe bata sakthi ho. Kehtha he dard baatne se kam hojatha he."

Piya was shocked listening to her words. No one in her life has read her correctly other than Maan until now. However, she cannot tell anything to her when they are about to give a fresh start. She told, "Aisi koi baat nahi he Geet. Karan ne jo bhi kaha woh sach he. If possible please forgive me; I know Maan left you because of me. Now I know everything will be alright. Karan and you are just perfect for each other and congrats to both of you." Geet knew that she was holding back because she thought that they have moved forward in their lives. She has to make her speak.

She told, "Piya, you don't have to be sorry for something you never did. You know, mein aur Karan tum dono ke jaane ke baad apne zindagi badalne ki bahut koshish ki, apne past ko bhoolne ki bahut koshish ki. Zindagi mein kuch kuch badlav zaroor aaya par dil ko nahi rok paya. Aaj bhi humne yahi decision isliye liya kyunki Rehan ko apne dad ki zaroorat he aur humare ghar wale hume khush dekhna chahthe hain. Agar humare saath hone se unko khushi milegi tho unse zyaada hume kuch nahi chahiye. Hum dono humesha se hi ache dost the aur humesha rahega bhi. Meine yeh sab tumse isliye kaha kyunki mein jaanthi hoon ki tum mujhe apne dil ki baat isliye nahi bata rahi hoon kyunki tum hum dono ke beech koi tension khada karna nahi chahthi he. Par mera yakeen mano, hum dono ke rishte ko koi bhi baat nahi badal sakthi, kyunki humara rishta dosti ka he."

Piya was in tears listening to her, knowing how much damage they have done in their lives because of one wrong decision. She told, "Geet, ab kuch bhi batane se koi fayda nahi he. Jo hona tha woh ho chukka he aur mein chahthi hoon ki tum dono apne past ko bhulakar apne zindagi mein aage bado. Mujhe pata he kehna bahut aasaan he aur nibhana bahut muskil, par aap dono apni zindagi kyun barbad kar rahe ho, woh bhi un logon keliye jo aap dono ke pyaar ke kabil nahi he?"
