Have you even been in an awkward situation before where you have continued to try to keep things together but no matter how hard you do so the the events take over and you become a victim of circumstance.
This is just what is happening to Ahem - he is this frog in a pot of cold water gradually heating up, unknown to him he will be boiled alive. All thanks to Rashi's forthcoming kalakari against Gopi.
For Ahem today he was not happy to be at this wedding having now know who the bride was. He wanted out! His mum tried to help her son, who understood why, but it was of no use.
He attempted to keep close to normalcy when Nilesh's grandmother came over to talk to him and when the photographer came over to their table.
When Nilesh's grandmother asked her question and expressed her praises, Ahem was lost for words but took the praise as a positive. He realised that this is how much of time he had wasted in his life. However, when the grandmother stated their comparision to her grandson and his future wife, this did leave a sour taste in Ahem's mouth.
The photographer too insisted on a photograph of them. Ahem without hesitation dragged his chair near Gopi and placed his arm around her shoulder, claiming her as his and posed for the photo, making this a perfect shot, as exclaimed by the photographer.
Ahem's perturbed mental state of his emotions of attending his ex girlfriends wedding left him distant with his loved ones as his heart swam the shark infested waters, left him pained to go through this process as his mind sifted the reasoning and left him hurting inside to face the past, just when things are coming together well with Gopi and him. Ahem was hanging on by a thread that will break and make him drop hard.
So he has faced the thunder, next the lightning.
