Adi shrugged, "if I came to meet him, then that day Maan had to g without food, so it was better I did not come "

Brij asked, "Did they allow Maan to study further"

Adi replied, "no, but Munshi ji helped him there, he managed to twist situations and without their knowledge he helped Maan get a degree"

Brij said, "That's nice of him, but did he never told Papa about all this"

Adi said, "May be he too was waiting for Maan to turn 21, but he had him trained to look after his business, you know Maan is a keen learner, he learns very fast, and his analytical capability is awesome"

Meanwhile,

Nakul rushed in KH, he was not surprised o find Savitri Devi in white silk sari with some jewellery, he gave her a assuring look and went to Pammi

Pammi was busy instructing the servants about how to behave in front of Handa's, Nakul startled her by his voice "Madam" which was very loud

Pammi almost lost her balance and shouted, "Nakul, what is this?"

Nakul," Madam, that Brij he is here"

Pammi asked still irritated, "now who is this Brij?"
Nakul whispered, "Handa son, the one who gives the cheque to Dev ji every 2 months"

Pammi. " oh Handa, I know and where were you ?"

Nakul, "Dev ji send me to count the crows, but that Handa he dragged me from the field, and made me run to KH to tell you, but what will I do now Dev ji will punish me"

Pammi was annoyed by his stupidity, "why will he scold you? For bringing the Handa here"

Nakul said, " no for not counting the crows till 5 pm, its only 11:30 am and till now I counted only 4 crows"

Pammi felt like banging her head, she scolded him, and asked him to leave and also instructed him to behave properly in front of the Handa son

NT was quite happy that Brij was coming, he liked him no don't take me otherwise, she liked him because he was well built as compare to Dev and was also rich, and now that she was told that he also holds reins of Khurana money she was all set to impress him.

Kamya too as making her own plans, she was dreaming of becoming Mrs Brij Handa, she was very excited, she has seen his pictures in many magazines, and he has won the award of rising entrepreneur of the year. In the car Pinky and Geet sat in front with Geet driving the car. While Maan sat at the back sandwiched between the girls who were teasing him.

He did not say anything but stayed aloof of them, after sometime they got fed up and started avoiding them, he smirked, his ignore them plan always works, with evil four and now it was working with these devils also.

As they crossed the HSPur bounds the car suddenly felt shaky Geet stopped it saying, "I think it's a flat tire girls, get down, let's change it"

They all stepped out of the car and started changing the tire with perfection Maan was amazed to see how easily they moved around as if it was like dressing up a Barbie doll. After that they washed their hands and asked a passerby for the nearest puncture shop, and thanked him

At the puncture shop they had to wait for an hour which they were very cool about, they did not hag the way NT and Kamya used to, these girls were very different. He liked them, he liked the way Geet was practical and her friends cooperating. Not once did they complain, he again remembered her words instead of complaining you should thank Babaji. He smiled

Geet called him and said, "why are you standing so far, come sit with us" then she called the little boy and said, "hey big man, get more tea and snacks"

Maan sat down on a nearby chair, and listened to what the girls were talking about, they talked about everything and nothing, they were all intelligent, Meera must be of his age, while Rajji seemed the youngest.

Meera turned to him and said, "so Maan, hope you are not feeling out of place"

Maan nodded, "certainly not, I am comfortable"

Rajji said, "Good for you, because you have to choice, you have to anyway tolerate us, not only now but for coming week until you shift to your Mansion"

Maan just gave her a smile. He liked the girls they were really nice, though in starting they were teasing him but now when the ragging phase seemed to be over they were being nice and understanding.

He looked a Pinky and found her right for his jerk friend Adi, but he pitied her, she seemed to be a nice girl and bubbly too, but Adi was not only rude but also short tempered, he was no doubt intelligent but he was nerd, he did not understand why a sweet girl like her would fall for him.

Maan like Geet the most maybe because she saved her from drowning and also she saved his sister andnow she was al at truce with him. He also remembered how good she felt when he hugged him, her touch made him feel that all is well, he wondered how could he feel so comfortable with her, when on one hand he felt like pucking when ever Kamya tried to touch him, even NT had called him many times to her room in Dev's absence and tried to touch him at places, but he somehow managed to ditch her.

In general he did not like women as his experience with them had not been nice, he was only comfortable with Daadi, but these girls were nice. He felt good and not tortured with them
