Next few hours went away in a blur. Maan didn't leave Geet's side for even a minute. Vicky was monitoring Geet constantly as she was drifting in and out of consciousness repeatedly due to the effect of poison. Dadima took care of their meals and other requirements, as both of them were completely oblivious to anything and everything except Geet.

Amidst all this tension and chaos, Maan managed the security and medical facilities required for Pari too. He got everything arranged for Pari in the Mansion itself because now he didn't want to part with his sister for even a second.

"Ma.. Maan.."

Vicky and Maan got on full alert mode when they heard Geet moaning Maan's name.

Geet slowly fluttered her eyes trying to adjust to the light. She saw Maan right in front of her and took into account her surroundings. She was trying to gather what actually had happened to her when she suddenly remembered something and panicked...

"Maan…. Hum.. Humara Baby???"

"Shhh Jaan chinta mat karo…. You and our baby are both fine…."

Geet took a sigh of relief and relaxed.

"Hmmm yes Doll you both are perfectly OK now…."

Both Maan and Vicky felt relaxed to see Geet completely out of danger especially after the last few torturous hours.

Geet was about to ask something when one of the servants knocked the door….

"Sahab…. Woh Bade sahib …. Memsaab aa gaye hain…."

Geet got super excited at the prospect of meeting Pari, she almost leapt out of the bed when Maan held her at her place..

"Tum yaha se hilne ke baare mein sochna bhi mat…."

"Parr main woh…."

She shut up immediately when she was awarded stern glares from both Maan and Vicky. She cutely pouted feeling totally helpless. Abb what can she do when the Khurana brothers are in one team...

PARI's ROOM

Everyone was quite amazed with the set up of the room. Maan had refurnished the guest bedroom into a beautiful girly bedroom. Everything was refurnished in soft shades of purple and light blue. Maan had arranged the entire medical equipment required also in the same room and there was a complete squad of doctors and nurses, the best in their field, for treating Pari.

Vicky was spellbound when he entered the room, he was visibly impressed with Maan. Even though Maan was physically present 24 hours with Geet, he had done a fantastic job herein also. He was a living example of the beauty of multi-tasking.

Pari was on sedatives and when she woke up, she found herself in a strikingly different yet very homely environment. She loved the feeling of this room. She looked around curiously like trying to find something or rather someone.

Everyone, especially Dr. Suzeil, was completely surprised. She had never seen Pari so calm after that incident. She seemed at complete ease with her surroundings.

Maan watched his baby sister from faraway and wiped the lone tear that fell from his eye. He didn't go in front of her because he feared that she won't accept him. In her current state, she despised the presence of any men in her near vicinity; she wasn't even comfortable with Vicky and Dad. He couldn't bear to see fear in her eyes from him, he feared the thing that he was subjected to during his early days of childhood, he feared REJECTION….

He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see his dad.

"Maan bete….. Mein samajhta hoon ki iss waqt tum kaisa mehsoos kar rahe ho…."

"Mujhe aap sey…."

"…. Bahut saare sawaalon ke jawaab chaiyeh... Haina???"

Maan was surprised, but he nodded.

"Beta hairan mat ho…. Tumhari aanhon mein main unn sawaalon ko saaf … saaf dekh sakta hoon…. Hmm Toh phir Der kis baat ki chalo, hum tumhari study mein chal kar aaram sey baat karte hain…."

MAAN's STUDY

Maan gestured his dad to take a seat and he himself settled comfortably on the lush sofa. He waited for Raj to start the conversation….

"Beta.. Mere samajh mein nahi aa raha ki main kahan sey shuru karoon…. Tum hi batao ki tum sabse pehley kya jaan na pasand karoge…."

"Dad, waise toh kaafi cheezon ke baare mein mujhe Vicky aur Geet bata chuke hain jaise ki Pari aur mera rishta, Pari ka accident aur uski asal pehchaan….. parr mere yeh baat bilkul samajh mein nahi aayi ki Pari aur Meera ek kaise ho sakte hain…."

Raj was quite amazed to know that but he was glad that Maan had taken everything very positively till now and he hoped that he takes the further information also in the same spirit….

"Hmmm Beta…. Darasal Pari ke janam ke waqt, hamari financial position bahut achchhi nahi thi, isliye uska janam London ke ekk chhote sey sub-urban hospital mein hua thha…."

Maan was quite pained to hear that his own parents and siblings had also faced the similar financial crisis like he and Dadima had to, All because of his so called Dad and that the problems that arose due to that stupid piece of property….

"…. Mujhe Jabb yeh pata chala ki mujhe Beti hui hai, toh main toh khushi sey Pagal ho gaya…. Vicky bhi tab kehne ko toh sirf paanch saal ka tha parr uske bhi chehre parr jo raunak thi wohh main kabhi nahi bhul sakta…. Purrey hospital mein bhaag raha tha.. sabko bata raha tha…. Ki meri nanhi Pari aa gayi..."

Raj got a smile on his face as he thought of that moment while Maan also felt the happiness that he would have felt had he been there at that moment….

"…. Parr uske baad sab khatam saa ho gaya…. Humari saari khushiyan chhin gayi…. Tumhari Maa toh uss sadme ko bardaash hi nahi kar paayi…."

"Sadma???"

Maan was extremely confused. He couldn't understand from where did this arise amidst all the happiness….

"… Haan…. Sadma…. Jabb doctor ne kaha ki hamari beti ne damm tod diya hai…. That our Baby is no more…."
