SRK AND PC : Affair Overshadowing PC's Career?

It's really no great secret that Priyanka Chopra's dalliance with Shahrukh Khan has had a negative impact on her career, but it's amazing the extent to which she's unable to go about her obligations without the issue coming up. In fact it's really all the press wants to talk about, leaving her floundering for replies when she should be talking up her new film or endorsement deals.

Apparently at a recent event to promote her new filmTeri Meri Kahani, the press was so insistent on demanding answers about her affair with SRK that the film's director, Kunal Kohli, had to step in and ask the press to restrict their questions to the film. And it was well documented a few days past when Priyanka lost her cool with a reporter during an event for one of the brands she endorses. What's shocking is that the reporter's question has finally come to light—he was completely unabashed in retorting "Until you answer we will keep asking, every time." What cheek!

Priyanka Chopra is never going to get away from the media's questions about her affair with Shahrukh Khan. She gets treated horribly by the press when she refuses to answer their questions, but of course deigning to answer them would only invite more questions and more demands on her privacy.

Interestingly enough no one in the media has thought to ask Shahrukh any questions about his private life concerning Priyanka. Why the double standard? Is SRK too big a star to harass over his sex life? Or is this just the media's way of trying to ruin Priyanka's career a la Gauri Khan?
