Hi guys.. am back with the next update. Love you all for your likes and beautiful comments. Ok guys, this is going to be a little short update, giving a peek into Geet's past, but will try to make the next update longer and finish with her past in that.

Flashback(Geet in her final year at college)..

"Mehak kya hua, aaj main pure din se notice kar rhi hun, tu aaj itni sad si lag rhi hai, aaj lectures me bhi aisa lag rha tha jaisi kisi aur hi duniya me hai tu" asked Geet, joining her friends in the college canteen.

Sheena.. " mat puch yaar, iska iske boyfriend ke sath phir panga ho gaya".

"Haye Babaji..don't tell me, phir breakup ho gaya?".. said a surprised Geet.

"Chod na yaar Geet. Yeh boyfriends na, sab ek jaise hote hain. Aap to bas hamesha inki haan me haan milate rho to theek hai. Thoda sa bhi inki marzi ke against kuch kar liya, to bas, inki to ego hurt ho jati hai, phir karlo breakup"'said Mehak.

"Ekdum sahi kaha Mehak tune. Bas jab tak innhe haan na bolo, bas tab tak hi yeh tumahare aage peeche ghumte hain. Ek baar proposal kya except kar liya, usske baad to yeh log bas tumhe for granted hi lete hain" said Sheena.

"Oh ho..tum log bhi na, jab dekho tab apni boyfriend puran leke baith jati ho. Sachi me, mujhe aaj tak smjh nhi aaya ki aakhir tumhe bf banane ki zaroorat hi kya hai. Why can't you be just friends with them. Koi complications hi nhi honge aur sab happy bhi rahenge." said Geet.

"Geeet. Tu to na.. rehane de. Tu nhi smjhegi. Tune aaj tak kabhi kisi ladke ko ghass bhi dali hai? Tu to hamesha bas aapni padhai me aur apne us Environment Club me hi busy rehati hai"..said Sheena.

"Aur nhi to kya. Aur phir bhi, agar koi ladka isse line mane ki koshish bhi kare, to uss bechare ki to khair nhi. Yaad nhi hai kya haal kiya tha us Rohit ka issne pichle saal. Bechara aaj bhi agar door se isse aate dkhta hai to kisi corner me jake chup jata hai.."..said Mehak all started laughing.

"Aare to issme meri kya galti. Main kya kisi aise vaise ko thodi na haan bol dungi. Main to kisi special ka wait kar rhi hun. Jo ki mera Mr. Perfect hoga. Sabse alag, sabse juda, har cheez me best. Usse to main dekhte hi pechan jaungi, usse mujhe boolne ki zaroorat hi nahi padegi"'said Geet going in her dream world.

"Aur haan, woh safeed ghode pe baith ke aayega, aur hamari pyari Geet ko udake le jayega'hai na"'.chipped in Pari, entering from behind them.

All started laughing loudly at her comment.

"Paaariii'." Geet shouted, aiming a french fry in her direction.

"Geeet'.chill yaar. Kitni baar samjhaya hai tujhe, kabhi to aapni in fairy tales aur prince charming ki duniyia se bahar aakar ek real ka bf bana"..said Pari, dogging the fry.

"Aapne college me'nooo'neeevveerr"..Geet pretended to make a disgusted face.

"Geet, tu kabhi nhi sudhregi" said Pari, sticking out her tongue.

"Issme kya hai, hum sudhar dehain isse" Sheena said, winking at them, grabbing her guitar and hitting the node.

Mehak and Pari joined in with Sheena and all started tickling Geet. Geet jumped away from them and went near Sheena, spreading her arms..

And all four of them spent the whole afternoon, bunking their classes, making (the protesting) Geet also bunk and did masti the whole day, singing, dancing and teasing each other.

Geet was getting late for the lecture and was rushing towards her class room. She suddenly collided with someone and dropped all her books and notes, but that person caught her, before she too could fall. She slowly opened her eyes, when she realized that she had not fallen and it was then that she saw him for the first time. He was a well built man, tall and kind of handsome also. She had never seen in the college before. She kept on staring him and he holding her, when suddenly she came out of her thoughts and straightened herself. Both were feeling a little awkward.

"Main aapki books utha deta hun" he said and started picking up the books. She also joined him. He gave all her books back..and said "I am sorry, I don't know where my attention was. Actually I am new to this college and was trying to find the way to the principal's office" She looked at him suspiciously and said "you don't look like a fresher"

He said "wohh'actually I had been pursuing my studies in Canada. Due to some family issues I had to come back to India and now will have to complete my final year at this college. Today is my first day and I kind of got lost in this big college campus. Can you help me please" he asked her politely.

"Yeh sure. You can take the second right from this corridor and u'll be at the princi's office at the first door" said Geet.

"Thank you so much. I am Dev by the way, Dev Khurana" he said extending his hand towards her.

She shifted her books in one hand and shook his hand with the other, smiling a little "Hi, I am Geet Handa"

"Nice to meet you Geet. Hope to see you around" he said and left from there.

Geet felt something and turned around to look at him once more to see his retreating figure. Unknowingly a small smile crept on her face. He was different from the others guys around. She turned back and made her way towards the lecture hall.

Next day, in the canteen..

It was lunch break and Geet had come to the canteen with her friends, when she saw him sitting with some guys. She recognized them to be from the other section, and guessed that Dev might have been sent to that section. She only knew Rohit from among the other guys, who immediately pretended to look some other way on seeing her. She caught Dev's eye and both passed a slight smile, then she moved towards her table, where her friends were waiting for her.

But this small exchange didn't go unnoticed by Rohit. He was a little surprised that Geet is exchanging a greeting some guy. "You know her?" he asked Dev trying to sound casual. "Nah, just met her yesterday, she helped me find the principal's office" replied Dev.

"Hmm...oh...ok.." but there was some idea which had already started taking shape in Rohit's mind.
