One of Shah Rukh Khan's ardent fans may be behind the Bollywood star getting special attention from security officials at airports in the US. Terrorist Riyaz Bhatkal, accused in the 2008 Ahmedabad serial blasts, loves using the star's name as his alias, apparently because he admires the actor.
This is known to intelligence agencies. The Interpol red corner notice for the founder-member of Indian Mujahideen (IM), associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), records that the wanted terrorist could be travelling as a passenger called Shah Rukh Khan. Sources say this may be one reason why security officials go into high-alert mode whenever the Bollywood star lands on US soil.
All international airports keep a database of criminals wanted by Interpol. It alerts officers each time a traveller's name matches that of a wanted man.

The Indian Govt. shouldn't get involved in the internal matters of USA...the first duty of the govt. of any country is to keep their citizens safe...if that means that a Shahrukh or a salmaan have to wait for an extra 2-3 hrs at the airport ...so be it ...I want my family to be safe...SRK ko jyada pareshani hai toh duniya mein bahut desh hain...wahan jaayein...but let Americans do their job...simple...
The funniest part in all this is that the one who was detained is not complaining...but every one else is...Time to grow up people...If the indian Govt think that its their duty to keep kasab safe rather than its citizens...too bad...i am glad we are the first priority of my Govt...

Its not funny when all the immigration officers at the airport need to do is google
shah rukh khan to find out if he is a terrorist or not but they detain a movie star
who has already been the victim of such a bungled security check before not too
long back.
it speaks of stupidity and laxity on the part of us officials. on the other hand it could
be an immigration officer wanting to piss srk off for some reason OR it could be
the USgovt is using SRK as a warning to any would be muslim terrorists that see,
they dont even spare a big movie star if he is muslim so there is little chance a
ordinary muslim mischief maker can get thru.

i don't see any problem...security is security after all...president has been stopped twice so why making a moolah of Shahrukh what has he done for the country in the first place...be reasonable. i too don't like US strictness coming to people...but when its security it is their right and duty to protect their citizens...why go there if u have such problem...

SRK is really making a fool of himself being in such incidents, do u think US is going to give a damn...no matter how many fake apologies they make, they will continue to do what they do...which i think is not a problem.
