I feel what ever JW said and did during the 3 months of marriage to Bani is unjustified, there is no excuse for a man to talk like that to hsi wife.
I still believe its a major script flaw. If they had handed a COMPLETE spiral bound script on day one of the show it SURELY WUD NOT have contained the things JW has accused Bani of and her Father of...........
I am sure RK wud have refused to act out those slandering scenes knowing that such a huge skeleton exists in hsi closet.
The writers may have even mellowed JW's reaction to Bani considering the raaz coming out later
The raaz is nothing but a copy of Saat Phere, it was NEVER PLANNED from day one.
It definitely cripples JW's character a lot......... 😭
Totally Aditee, the Raaz was a last minute addition! The Original Story of Kasamh Se was completely different, they changed the script just a few days before the shooting begin....when they canned the first shot between Ram and Prachi, and everyone on the Sets remarked that they share an awesome chemistry!
From what I know, Jai was supposed to fall in love with Bani but end up marrying Pia and Bani would have married Pushkar! But later they role-reversed and made Jai and Bani get married!😃
The twist in the Love Story of Jai and Bani was supposed to be Pia's entry in their lives when they were happily married, but Sandip Sikand (KS's Creative Head) insisted that they should make KS a little different and hence, the infidelity angle was kept out (Also, I heard that Roshni Chopra was much against playing a negative character) and the Raaz Angle was brought in!
In retrospect, I think that Jai being responsible for Kiran's death is a far more redemable proposition than Jai fooling around with his Wife's married Sister!😆
It is but obvious that the Raaz Element is a total last mintue thingy......It has too many lose ends and in the end, it still made Jai look like the injured party than Bani! Even though Bani gave that heart-rending speech, it still did not make Jai look as if he was guilty of anything....even more, now I think the audience will emphatize with him more! No one will remember how nasty he was to Bani earlier, it is only we guys who discuss it, but the general audience won't care a tuppeny for Jai's past behaviour with Bani, all they would know is that now he loves her and is more hurt and broken than she is, which is actually not the fact!
Yes, for us, I think the Creatives have weakened Jai's character a little bit.....I still cannot understand why on Earth did Jai keeps accusing Nishikant all the time when he did not even report a case against Jai and did not take any money from him???? Was it because of the curse that Nishikant gave Jai? That sounds a pretty flimsy reason......
