Payal is the worst sister ever.

On one hand, Khushi sacrificed her own happiness and gave up her freedom to save her sister's marriage. She would never agree to a 6 month marriage if not for Payal. When Payal is in distress, Khushi is always there to help her. She refused to accept the award because of what Payal told her. She tried to help Payal impress Mami. She tries to cheer Payal up whenever she is down.

Yet I never see the same love and care from Payal. Okay she doesn't know that Arnav blackmailed Khushi into marrying him but she does know about Shyam. Shouldn't she check on Khushi once in a while to see how she's doing, with Shyam hovering around all the time? She could even suggest telling the truth now...and reassure Khushi that nothing will break up her and Akash. If Khushi has Payal's support, no doubt she would be stronger. Instead, Payal is too worried with impressing her mother-in-law and husband to care about Khushi.

Look at the difference between Anjali and Payal. Anjali's bond with Arnav is so strong, its like she pays more attention to him and Khushi than her own marriage. She is always spying on ArHi and trying to bring them together. In fact, she cares too much...we actually say she is nosy and needs to mind her own business. But at least she cares. Payal is on the opposite end, she NEVER thinks about Khushi. She doesn't even bother asking Khushi how her marriage is going. Even though Nani, Anjali, Mami and Shyam have all noticed there are problems between Arnav and Khushi. But Payal is in her own world. I guess that's what happens when its your adopted sister.

And just to clarify, this is not a post to bash Payal. No offense to her fans but you can't be satisfied with her characterization.

I just want them to bring back the bond between Khushi and Payal. Why does it seem like Payal couldn't care less about Khushi after marriage? That sucks, just because they are not related by blood doesn't make their bond any weaker. Deepali is a lovely actress and I'd like to see her get more meaningful scenes. If this show is about the love between siblings, than show the love between Khushi and Payal too...its been missing for MONTHS. Maybe Khushi can FINALLY come to terms with her love for Arnav and confide in Payal.

I agree with you, but the reason why Anjali's bond with Arnav, is SO strong, is because of the hard times they went through with each other, they have this special memory of what exactly happened to both of them, and only THEY do, and after the death of their parents i believe Anjali looked after Arnav so there's that too. But i definitely DO agree that their is absolutely no reason why Khushi and Payal cannot at least have a STRONG sisterly relationship with each other, it is true that Payal spends too much time trying to impress her mother-in-law..But the difference between Anjali and Payal is that Payal has a huge problem (for her) of her Mil not liking her a BIT..And is trying her BEST to be accepted by her, as no one likes to live with another who is she/he is hated by. But Anjali doesn't have any problems...That she's AWARE of (otherwise beleeive me, she has PROBLEMS...Snakewa 😡) So...She's more likely to focus on other's problems (as that's just her sweet nature) and as she can definitely see a problem in Arnav's marriage..She's trying to help.

i agree but not totally...if payal would have known wht khushi is going through she would have blasted em sure...thts how her charachter is charachterized but yeh she is too much lost in her own world tht she remains ignorant abt every thing. but if the thing was in her notice and the way shyam is being miserable for khushi..she would have definetly done some thing...

Payal was such a nice sister at the beginning, the way she stand up for her when everyone was against khushi after payl first marriage being broken.
But now, nothing
Once again, cv's are giving more importance to Arnav-Anjali bond

As an older sister, I am completely appalled by Payal!!! Even though my sister and I live in different parts of the country, I still know if something is amiss just by the tone of her voice. So it's hard to believe that Payal, who actually spends time with Khushi every single day, is not able to see her sister's distress!!!
