FROM REAL TO REEL LIFE: Abhay (Anuj Saxena) with wife Mahi (Poonam Narula Goyal) in Kkusum

Holding a mirror to real life, Abhay (Anuj Saxena) of the Sony daily Kkusum faces a divorce case on the show too.

His screen wife Mahi (Poonam Narula Goyal) wants to end the marriage. She has sent a legal notice through a lawyer to Abhay asking for an astronomical alimony besides the family house.

Off-screen, Anuj recently filed for divorce from his wife Ishmit Dhadial.

Is the track for this Balaji show inspired by Anuj's real life drama or it is just a mere coincidence? Whatever the reason, the serial now has Abhay and first wife Kkusum (Shilpa Saklani) back together. Kkusum also reunites with her daughter Kumud (Aashka Goradia).

Says Aashka, "I am finally with my mother Kkusum in the show. There is plenty of regret that even I could not recognise her all this while. I accept her as she is without any doubts."

Adds Anuj, "The plot of Kkusum is getting interesting. The focus now is on Abhay and Kkusum. Abhay has realised that Mahi is responsible for all the problems in Kkusum's life."

The reason for Mahi's outburst is, but naturally, the return of Kkusum. Mahi is peeved that Abhay did not give her the rightful status as wife in the house.

The confrontation scene will have Abhay repent bringing Mahi home as a surrogate mother as Kkusum was unable to conceive a child at that time. It is also learnt that Kkusum will turn into a courtroom drama as the divorce case unfolds.

Yet another fashion show in Kkusum

Over the weekend, Abhay and Kkusum were in Ahmedabad for the pre-launch of a lifestyle store, which included a fashion show. This is slated to air next week. It has Abhay and Kkusum walking the ramp.

Among the models are Shahwar Ali, Aryan Vaid, Craig Scott, Manoj Biddvai, Netra Raghunathan and Anupama Varma. The compere, Manasi Scott, also belted out a number besides Indian Idol finalist Rahul Vaidya.

Earlier, Kkusum has had two fashion shows on air to launch Abhay's jewellery line.
