But he did sever that relationship for his mother. When having to choose between his mom and his love for Anitha, at that point in his life, he chose his mom. Till now he has lived with Gopi, accepted her, and then has fallen in love with her only to have his past facing him point blank again.

I can understand his reactions anger, frustrations, tears, memories. This is not a one night stand we are talking about.. It is a girl with whom he had a deeper relationship and a person he hurt. He knows that. There is guilt for givng her pain, there is a frustration for having to go through his past again, there is anger, an anger he feels for having to confront things that were better forgotten. There may also be regret.. Not for marrying Gopi but for a life they would have dreamed of once in the past, for the dreams that never came true..

The beauty is Aham does know deep inside that his reactions are for the past, trust me... But he is very passionate to just let it be. A reaction of just plain fear that Gopi will find out just does not sit well for Aham. A reaction of just shock and then indifference also does not go with his character.. Why?

- Anitha seems to be a perfectly nice person and she would have been the same in the past. he loved her once.

- He hurt her badly. She was truthful and he was the one to cause the hurt.

- She is right in front of him when his life is sailing smoothly.

But I like the reaction for it tells me that Aham will now not just bury his past but will confront it headlong, understand it and realize what is different this time with Gopi. This is good now even before his confession to Gopi or himself. You ask why?

If say hypothetically Anitha came back ten years after now. Aham and Gopi would be I believe parents by then. I do not want Aham to settle in life with Gopi with the past just buried... I want him to understand the extent of his love and passion for Gopi. There should not be a single doubt in Gopi's mind that she is a consolation prize for Aham. And there should be no doubt in his mind he settled for Gopi. She deserves better.

Now Anitha coming back, Aham can confront his past, the feelings he had then and the ones he has now. If at the end of all this he finds that his feelings for Anitha was more than what he feels for Gopi now, then it is fair that he let her go..

But I think what will happen is that, Aham will after this confusion come to the correct conclusion, that his love for Anitha was for a girl he liked. But he was not in love with her. It is Gopi his heart beats for..

But to arrive to this conclusion, he needs to know what it feels not to have Gopi. This is where Rashi comes in. She is going to play the devil because she likes to so much to cause misery around but indirectly by giving Gopi her biggest insecurity, she is going to cure Gopi of her biggest insecurity.

When Gopi pulls away from Aham, he will have to confront the fact that he is losing his love, his true love. If seeing Anitha was like a thunder bolt, seeing Gopi go will be like his heart being pulled out..

The difference will let him see why he has fallen in love with Gopi. The only thing is Aham will suffer of course but as I have always known Gopi will suffer with him..

He will realize but how soon?

Don't be angry just my PoV, not until he sees Anitha in her marriage. This will go on, the confusion, the anger, the conflict. Aham is trying to get hold of his life again and it is not easy for a short tempered person. Plus he now has these new feelings that he has to confront.

Being a fair man, it is natural to think if he is doing right by Gopi. He will be angry with the very person he needs comfort and assurance from. The more angry he gets at Gopi, the more she will start to distance herself. To her it will be his past love but to me, it will be the love he has for Gopi. You always hurt the person you love the most. The most cruel things are said to the person you love. For your anger and love blinds their hurt from you and when you do see their hurt, you hurt but that just feeds your anger more..

Tears, heart break and then finally Aham will come to his conclusion. He will know how much he loves Gopi. This does not mean that he had not love Anitha. But he will accept that his memories of Anitha can now be somthing to look back on without pain. To come to this place, Aham needs to confront his past which he is facing now, I think commendably well and in character.

Please be braced for a ride that will make you cry and be angry at Aham. But just remember that the more he hurts Gopi, the more he is hurting himself on the inside.. I am loving it!!😃

What makes Ahem different from others..?.
Ahem is a man who is passionate and thinks and does things only if his heart approves him to do.,...he is a straightforward man... he loves and hates and cares with his heart.. he is a genuine, truthful, honest guy...

Why i love Ahem's anger, his frustration, guilt and worry in this situation?
Ahem was guilty and sad to see Anita, he was sad and guilty because he hurt Anita by not marrying her and leaving her .. he knew he broke her heart... there is an amount of guilt and sadness which accompanies his past decision of hurting her...true people have the guilt of hurting others and the guilt comes to the fore when the person stands infront of you after 2 years also...

Ahem was in trance and worried when he walked it.. it was yet again so natural and so Ahem like..He had buried his past or his feelings for Anita and it is like the storm from the past is creating a turbulence over his otherwise peaceful and content present

Ahem's anger when he rips the picture is fantastic and brilliant.⭐️..when he was ripping it.. it was not a sadness.. it was not hurt expressions.. he was not worried for a minute what will gopi think or what will anita think.. he just want to let go off the picture from his possession.. ..as he hated his past hovering and disturbing his present

It is very natural for a person to get angry and sad when they meet their past... but i am very happy it was not jealousy at any instance,.. he did not smile or he was not happy meeting her after 2 years - that is what i loved...

Ahem expresses his every feeling in anger ..which i so love it..so his frustration..also came out as anger due to which he tore the picture and the anger with which he threw the pieces of picture just shows how he does not want a single ounce of his past in his present ' past has no place in current situation...

yes, it is...very much needed .. Ahem had forgotten his past.. there is a difference between hidden and forgotten feelings and getting over them once for all..

Harini.. even i do not want gopi and Ahem's relation or confession to be done where Ahem's past is forgotten.. this has to be removed completely...gopi as of now knows what Ahem said about loving Anita.. she knows he has changed towards her but at the same time she thinks she came in the place of Anita..she feels she is just trying to fill in for Anita in Ahem's life...for this Ahem need to talk to gopi about his past . about his present..about his feelings.. about everything...

Ahem should make gopi understand her place in his life what she means to him... ,.. and gopi deserves much better start of their relation.. where Ahem will talk about getting over his past to gopi...and the board needs to wiped clean for Ahem and Gopi's love story to be written '

how long will it take is a question..? but i am in no hurry.. i will watch with all patience brace myself for a tearjerker and emotional roller coaster ride

I have always found Ahem Modi a compassionate and dependable man. He was arrogant yet sympathetic and believable always...he yelled at Gopi for making minuscule of a mistake. But gradually he learns to communicate with and accept help from Gopi his wife who cares for him and worships him. But he has never really given a thought that why he had directed all his anger and frustration towards his innocent wife...best time to do some soul searching and address his past and move on in with the beautiful present hand in hand.

Gopi worships Ahem ji like her kanha ji and has completely submitted to his will.
I want her to dethrone him from Godly pedestal and show him the path of mutual submission. Gopi being Gopi can never do that so Anita is the perfect one to show Ahem, Kanha ji's directive of mutual submission. Ahem has to learn that he too had erred and ...To Err is human. 😳
