Saying what was in his heart... Yash goes to his shrine and keeps looking at Arpita's lovely picture... His agony... his grief surfacing all over again... His pain as if as fresh as the day he lost Arpita... His heart was feeling torn in thousand pieces... tears just flew from his eyes like July rain... He just stood there with his arms folded across his chest crying silent tears...
Aarti lookes at his stiff posture and sad profile and she softly comes behind him and wanted to apologize to him she raises her arm to tap on his shoulder and suddenly the soft wind blows the chimes and Aarti is just frozen in her action... She looks at the chimes with horrid expressions... she withdraws her hand and once again looks at the chimes... The constant jingle of the chimes takes her back to the chimes in her house and reminds her of that horrible day when Prashant left her crying and sobbing in front of his own house not even caring a bit for his unborn child.. She remembers her pleas to him not to leave her and think about the baby she was carrying but that worthless man told he has committed mistake being with her and now he has found someone and he simply cannot live with her. She kept on screaming his name till her voice was hoarse but he did not look back and rode quickly in his car and out of her life... She was so much in that painful event that she thought it is happening right now and she almost screamed his name but realized that she was in the past and stops herself... The sound of that sweet chimes instead of soothing her brings her pain and she pressses her ears tightly to shut that sound and wipe that memory out of her mind...
On the other side those chimes reminded Yash the lovely moments with his beloved wife...
Yash is standing near the window with folded arms drumming his fingers on his arm waiting impatiently for his wife to come out of the restroom... Softly the door opens and Arpita comes out wrapped in a white shawl... He looks at her and his face breaks in to a smile and the twinkle comes in his eyes... He stealthy approaches the shy figure in front of him and goes behind her back... Leaning on her shoulder he murmurs that she is looking really beautiful today.. Then he comes on the other side and whispers in her ear... but here is one mistake... Arpita quickly lifts her eyes to him to know what is he talking about.. He smiles his naughty smile and quickly removes the shawl exposing Arpita's modern dress... Arpita blushes red and Yash start teasing her saying you are blushing like a new bride but let me tell you that we are here for our 2nd honeymoon and it has been a year since we got married... She blushes some more but still looks happy basking in her husband's love and adoration.. Teasing her some more Yash pulls her arm saying that now as you are ready we will go to disco.. Arpita flatly refuses saying that she is not going anywhere or out of this room in the way she is dressed up. Yash tells her that she needs to come in this dress as no one wears saree in disco. Arpita tells him that she is not going in that dress. With fake anger Yash says Ok than you stay locked up in this room and I will go and find a partner who is dressed like that.. Then he comes back teasing her some more.. saying oh not even like this but in mini dress. Arpita knows her husband well she also shows him her fake anger saying oh really.. you are welcome to try that but still then you will miss me and then pointing her finger at his heart she says as my name Arpita is written in your heart... Her confidence on thier love and her cliam on him was so profound that it instantly makes Yash emotional and holding her hands he says Yes Arpita your name is in my heart and no one can take that place in my heart.. He almost says it loudly but then realizes that it he was not actually talking to Arpita but he went down to the memory lane. The incident was embossed in his memory so deep that he feels like she just told him that and he it just keeping echoing in his whole being...
The jingling of the chimes take both of them in their past...
Those jingles remind Aarti of her painful incident and the same Jingles take Yash to the loving memory of his wife he still loves and adores. And they come back to the present and show concern for each other.
Coming to the present he looks around and sees Aarti's crestfallen face. Right away he feels concern for her and ask why she looks so worried... It is so amzing to see that though in so much in love with his deceased wife it does not stop Yash to be a gentle man and get concern for the person who is now called his wife. Aarti tells him that she is worried about Ansh but Yash pacifies her saying that Vidhi bhahi has put him to sleep with his daughters and he is well cared for with them. and it is also amazing to see that Aarti who would not even let Shobha his own grand mother take care of Ansh instantly beliees Yash about Ansh... His sincerity and honesty and integrity makes Aarti believe in him blindly. She does not even think about making an argument.
He then moves near the French window staring at nothing but still preoccupied. Aarti looks at him and then decides to go for the change... So she lifts her bag on the bed and after searching for the keys.. she puts the key in the lock... the key gets stuck and Aarti tries to pull it back.. she keeps on twisting the key so the lock would open.. but it does not.. her actions made her hand shake a lot and comes the familiar sound of kangan... Right away Yash's ears pick up that sound. He looks at Aarti and his gaze falls on the kangan reminding him how those kangan made the same sound when Arpita wore them... He watches Aarti's struggle and then comes forward without a word... Meanwhile Aarti pulls the key out and see that it is twisted she mumbles as how she will open the lock now...
Yash stands in front of Aarti and extends his palm for the key.. Aarti thinks he wants to have Arpita's kangan.. So she tries to pull them out of her wrist... Suddenly Yash puts his palm on her hand stopping her action and pulls the key from her palm.. I think later on Yash himself will let Aarti take Arpita's place.. He knows that those Kangan were Arpita's favorite and she wore them all the time as she knew he liked that sound.. Now he stops Aarti and does not let her pull those kangan. Though he has married her for the sake of his children but she is his wife and he let her wore that Kangan knowing that it is now her rights to wear them and he let's her have her rights as his wife. It may pain him or bring back the memories of his Arpita but he is an honest man and he does not deny Aarti's rights to wear those kangans... He is almost ready to listen to that sound on Aaarti's hand... Did in any inner corner of his heart he gave a place to Aarti?? We will have to see that...
Without a word he kneels on the floor and tries to open the lock.. He changes the key and opens the lock for her... This time Aarti did say thank you. Yash was a bit surprised as he almost expected those killer looks but he silently nods his head and moves back to his position near the window. Aarti pulls pink chiffon saree and gets up thinking in her head now where do I change this???
Here I also found interesting that earlier Yash's high handed manner to do the things without letting her know his intention made her mad like hell... like wading off the insect from her waist and picking her up to save her the embarrassment... but today when he stopped her struggle to pull the kangan and pulled the key out of her hand without asking for the permission to touch her she did not get mad. She just looked at his grim face and knew that this man never can have any bad motives or intensions ever. She just silently takes the offered help and says thank you. As if Yash's confession about the purpose of this wedding totally sheds a new light on her thought process and her admiration grows for this man hundered folds.. infact she feels totally ashamed thinking how could she have misjudge him so. It feels like she has committed great crime.
Standing there looking in the space Yash still could understand her question and before she asks him he says there and points to the corner where restroom was... Aarti moves toward restroom.. She enters and looks around keeps her saree on the basin and thinks about what Mansi told her than she confesses to herself that Mansi poisoned her mind against Yash and she completely misunderstood him. She said that next time she sees her friend Mansi she will give her the piece of her mind telling her that all men are not like the way she thinks and Yashji is completely different.. There was a tiny smile and an bit of admiration and a bit of happiness on her face... Without her realization Yash has already made a place in her heart...
As for her it was a totally novel experience knowing that a man could care like that for a woman. her past has cheated her from this experience and she kind of likes the newness of it..
It was a cute scene with Paridhi and Pratik and just usual kiddish stuff... but though Pratik was born and brought up in the traditional family he really did not mind the untraditional way of Paridhi. As he believes in traditions but also he does not believe rigidly that he cannot accommodate the woman he loves.
Oh now comes the scene with Ma and Pa Schindhia..
The scene actually made me laugh. Not sarcastically but just to see how traditional they are. Ma Gayatri comes with the glass of Milk and sits near the feet of her husband and gives him massage and Pa Schindhia is resting his back on the head board and is getting spa treatment from his wife..
Anyways their talk was at the practical level. They both were happy that their sons got married and now their family seems to be complete. Pa Schidhia says that he is specially happy for Yash that now he has a wife and all his needs will be fulfilled. oh Gosh this man never looks beyond the outward thing.. The marriage institution for him is the means of satisfying physical need and get the heir for the family. He never gets involved in heart's matter which is the real soul of the marriage.. the joining of the hearts and not just the body.. He was worried about Yash's physical needs and not his emotional needs. And that is why though he loves his son Yash very much but he could never understand Yash and his inner turmoil. His mind is just too practical period. and that's that... no emotional baggage with him. And that is why he feels all happy when all things goes according to his plans and gets pissed at the situation where anybody try to go against his set plans... Though his character is interesting and I do like him as he is the one who gets things done when every one stops working at the emotional level. There is not match with him and Gaytri's thougts.
Gayatri tells him about the incident of Arpita wanting to keep Ansh with her and he just squint his eyes but then Gayatri tells him that she made Aarti understand her duty toward Yash also and only than she listen.
At this point I also noticed that he did not condemn Aarti for being possessive about Ansh. He is not prejudice toward anybody. Though he has better understanding than Gayatri but he only thinks with his head and not with the heart.. Pa Schindhia though appreciates Nidhi's efforts to put Ansh with Payal and Palak and thinks if those three gets along fine then aarti will have some time for Yash..
That's all for the day people enjoy the lovely day' and Good night to the people on western hemisphere... love to all eva
