I always thought from Indira point of view, but when I think from Rishi point of view or put myself in Rishi shoes, I think that guy is more pitiable than Indu at times. As pointed out, Rishi has no where to go back.. Surely, the doors of Diwan house is closed for him after sending his brother to jail. So, he is left all alone.. Now, who will stand up for him ?
I wouldn't want Indu out of gratitude to forgive Rishi, it should be more of feel that Rishi did a mistake unintentionally and did everything to redeem that mistake. Whether Indu marries Rishi or not, it is secondary and would be her choice whenever she wants as she has to take her family into account and the priorities.. But, Indu certainly would need to support Rishi as a true friend, a friend who can give that love and affection and moral support to lift a person who is down and out emotionally.
Rishi's love for Indu has been unconditional and he is ready to forgive her for anything, I suppose Indu too cares for Rishi and wants him around, but her ego doesn't let her to forgive him that easily at least not so far. But, she still loves Rishi but hesistates to confess that love and accept him back in her life.
If Indu goes back and calmly ponders what transpired in the last 4-5 months and how supportive Rishi has been in every trouble she had to face and how big a moral and a pillar of strength he had been, Indu would realize that two 2 mistakes he comitted were forgiveable and the good deeds would outweigh a couple of mistakes he did.
Indu needs to support Rishi as a friend when he needs the most than a lover. If she doesn't, Rishi should book his tickets and go back to US.
