For the ones who saw April 11th's episode, we know about the offer that Rani made to Mandira and her family. Apologies in advance if this is a dumb or odd question, but how common is it for rape victims to marry their rapists? I'm genuinely curious because there are people out there who believe the things Rani said (stuff about rape victims not being able to get married or have normal lives).

Thoughts anyone?

if someone is not interested in marrying you simply because you were a victim of some heinous crime then you better not marry that person..everybody deserves a partner who accepts you for who you are..

Don't know how often it happens .

Its beyond me how a girl gets Khushi or her life gets settled by marrying her rapist.

By doing this she volentarily makes herself a victim every day and night for her

whole life.

Only one who benefits is her rapist who gets away with the punishment and also

gets a licence to harass the girl as a bonus.

There is a serious problem in the mindset of the people who think like Rani said.

As Indira said this is dikhave ki khushi where the ultimate looser and the victim

is the girl.

Don't know if anyone gets support and justice for a marital Rape in our society.

I definitely agree that it's unjust and that the girl will probably suffer more from being a part of such a marriage compared to being unwed her entire life.

In a way, I'm glad they brought up this point in court in order to highlight that it's never a good idea.
