Good morning everybody,
Last night gave us an episode in which we find Ram and Priya are at VikHa's place where the last minute preparations are going on for the surprise dinner of Vikram. Vikram reaches there and he surprises Neha. Neha is happy but still she nags that it is more fun if she gets annoyed with Vikram and he patafoying her. Ram says How could women be so silly? Surprise denge toh musebath, bhool gaye toh museebath. Arey Golu, tumko tactfully deal karni hogi aurathon ko. U are still inexperienced. And Neha says the same. Vikram says they are going to Lonavala for a 2 day trip and Neha says about kids. Vikram says all the 5 are going. And Priya asks them to enjoy as she would be happy to take care of their kids. VikHa are surprised and Ram is shocked. Priya manages saying we can do that for 2 days and it is no big deal. Ram tries to push this idea off.
We find them on their way returning home and Priya says if she can handle Ram, she can handle any other kid. Ram gives his characteristic "Very Funny" dialogue which I was desperately looking for these days. And it was awesome.
Now we find Natasha calling Niharika and saying she can't bear to be in Sharma house anymore and she did a mistake marrying Kathik as her MIL and SIL keep taunting her and even Karthik is not supportive of her. Niharika sweetly says that Nuts can call her anytime and she would be available for her. This Niharika is intent on bringing her daughter's married life into hell. When Nuts needed her emotionally she asked her not to disturb her and now that she is complaining she wants to make her more restless in her sasural.
I have saved Ayesha's part till the end. After coming out of the movie, Sudhir, Shipra and Ayesha have kulfi and they enjoy it. Sudhir asks Ayesha to get kulfi for karthik and Natasha too. The mom-daughter duo say whats the necessity. Then Sudhir gives awesome lecture to Ayesha that to grow she has to be standing on the ground. And Natasha is the main reason she is getting all these offers. Had it not been for Natasha, she would never be in lime-light. And she has to respect her Bro and SIL however they might be and reminds her about Natasha's contribution to her career. This doesn't go well with Shipra. She doesn't say anything but her expressions speak those feelings. Sudhir's words reminds Ayesha of Niharika's completely opposite statements. She seems to be subsided for time-being. Loved Sudhir in this scene. He was not shouting or anything but was very intent on giving a strong message to his daughter. Priya has shown this during her warning to Sid. It was the scene of the day for me. In the night, while sleeping Ayesha remember the words of both her dad and Niharika. As we know galath baatein hamesha meethe hothe hain and sach hamesha kadvi hothi hain. So obviously Ayesha thinks that she has grown herself and nobody helped her. The scene was shot beautifully. While she had a confusion of thoughts, the camera was at her level and the moment she gets that false ego and attitude she was shown at a lower level than the camera. I somehow thought that it was done symbolically showing her fall.
The episode ends with VikHa kids playing on Ram's bed and Ram shouting at them. In the living room Neha is giving Priya a list of what to do and what not to do. This confuses Priya and she asks Neha to message her all the stuff instead of telling. Ram looks on at the kids.
Precap was beautiful. Ram plays with kids and he gets tired and settles down as VikHa's kids are hyper energetic.
One more thing VikHa's eldest child is changed. He is not the curly haired boy but a junior Golu.
Yes, one more thing. We never find Ram and Priya discussing about kids with Vikram and Neha. The true essence of going for dinner.
I somehow think ST's acting was OTT for the reason that she acted solely in the absence of other cast. She was like reacting too much. Well, she has to emote before walls is really tough job.
