Such a sad episode, with Gulaal almost losing her sense ...and I was seeing Gulaal from Kesar's eyes...
and was actually wondering how much that guy would have cursed himself, how much he would have been afraid!
His one sense of stability..that one person who was the center point of his existence...
That one person who was like the focal point of his world,
the rock in midst of the turbulent ocean that he was...

was now in this plight...

The one person he could cling to when he wanted to cry..he craved to cling to all these years...
was now distraught, completely out of the reach of any semblance of sanity...

And it is at this point of time that the role reversed...

What Gulaal was for Kesar, Kesar became for Gulaal
Albeit he always was...
He was there with her always...Just like she had been with him always.

And as I said, this hug, this cry, this outcry was something that should have been the scene after Gulaal found
Dushyant's locket and discovered the truth...
Or after Kesar discovered the horrendous truth...
But both of them kept that inside themselves...Gulaal because of Vasant's dream (And that is Kesar na,? Vasant's dream was Kesar!)

And Kesar, because of Vasant's promise (That was Gulaal too...he had promised while during the rituals,,that he would obey Gulaal)
It was the cry they had never shared...for Gulaal it had been being Strong for everyone...and for Kesar...
suddenly Gulaal had become everyone...nobody else had seemed to matter after her...

And today they came together...the unique pieces of the puzzle..who wont fit with anyone...but who would blend into each other like they were never different...

Finally with no secrets...no misunderstanding...but only the grief of the man who had been dearest to them and but for whom they never would have met...
