Kushi's Rajkumar

Anjali thought " Kushi and Chote fight so much I have to do something about this". Next day Kushi was waiting for the kids to come. Anjali knocked on the door. " Di you, come in. I was waiting for the kids to come".
Anjali came in. "Kushiji, Are you enjoying yourselves with the kids", she asked.

"Yes di it is good time pass and I love to spend time with kids, they are so naughty and so much fun". At that time they heard the kids coming through the front door. Anjali remembered the letter she had read yesterday. The kids came in and all sat down. Kushi asked them "Did you all write the story I told you yesterday? The boy who had taken notes said "Kushi di I wrote it". Anjali asked "Can I read it?"
Anjali remembered the lines in the letter "How can anyone believe in fairy tales after getting married to you". She thought this is the perfect moment to give Kushi back her dreams. She said you know Kushiji he has written it so well let us make an act out of it. I am also feeling bored today and I would love to see this story.
Kushi was surprised. "Nahi di, this was just a story I told the kids to make them sit at one place. Let us leave it". Anjali said "No Kushiji I will call naniji and mami and let us do this now". Kushi didn't know what to say. In few moments they were all in the hall. Anjali started "Ok kids who wants to be the Princess and who will be Devil and who will be the Rajkumar ?" The kids all started talking among themselves and at the same moment the front door opened and Arnav came in. He was surprised to see everyone at the hall. "What the hell is going on here?" Anjali replied "Nothing Chote we are having some fun which you never do" and suddenly one of the kids said the "Shaitan". Everyone laughed and then suddenly Anjali had an idea. "Kids I think we will make Kushiji the Princess and let Chote play the Rajkumar". Arnav was taken back, "Di what rubbish? I don't want to play anything and I don't want to become anyone's Rajkumar. I am going to the room now". He walked up the steps and stopped hearing Shyam's voice.

Shyam said "Hey let me also hear what is going on here? Who is going to become whose Rajkumar?" Anjali replied "Nothing much, we were playing an act and we had asked Kushiji to become Princess and was asking Chote to become her Rajkumar but as usual Chote has walked away saying no. Now we have to again start finding a Princess and Rajkumar". Shyam smiled and said "What is a big deal in this? If it is for the kids I can always be Kushiji's Rajkumar and then seeing her face he said that is if you all don't mind". All started seeing each other and Anjali started "aap", but Kushi interrupted "Di I think we should just let the kids do the act and we will watch". Shyam got irritated but then he smiled and said "you know Kushiji if we do it the kids will learn from it by seeing us rather than they doing it by themselves". All nodded, Kushi was very nervous and started twisting her hands. How do I get out of this? Then she heard Arnav on the steps saying "actually jijaji you are right we should do it so that kids can learn. Di I didn't think about it before. I think I will act as Kushi's rajkumar Jijaji". He glared at Shyam and Shyam glared back. Kushi was surprised at Arnav's sudden change and for a second couldn't ignore the glares which went between Arnavji and Shyamji. Does Arnavji know about Shyamji? Her thought was interrupted when one of the kids said maybe that uncle can be the shaitan pointing at Shyam. Shyam got very angry. The big girl among the kids said "but you know remember Kushi di said Rajkumar and Shaitan are the same person so one uncle is enough". Anjali was very happy that Chote had agreed and maybe her plan is working.
They started the act. Arnav sat in front of Kushi putting on the devil's mask and asked her "Sundari will you marry me?" Kushi went near him and said "Sundari, remember you told me to see my face in the mirror?" Arnav said "I am telling you again don't dream of anything I am doing...".Kushi stopped him "I am doing this for di this time, not you" and then she said in a loud voice, "No Shaitan I won't marry you". Then she acted her scene of her eating dinner and going to sleep. In her dreams came the Rajkumar. Arnav asked her again "Will you marry me ?" Kushi woke up from her sleep. She had seen the Shaitan's face in the Rajkumar. Then they continued the act where the next day at dinner the Shaitan asks the same question and this time Sundari says "you know Shaitanji I have been thinking of telling you that a Rajkumar keeps coming in my dreams and asks me to marry him, he seems to care about me but I feel I can't do wrong to you since I feel you also care about me in your own way giving me shelter and looking after me. So I am thinking I should marry you rather than him since he is only my dream and you are real. I can happy with you also". Kushi then went near him and spoke in a whisper "I really wish I can tell you this time also that I won't marry you but then the story I told the kids will be wrong and they will be confused. I can't tell lies to them". Arnav was bit taken back at that. The Shaitan was very surprised and according to the story he had been cursed to become like this until someone loves him and agrees to marry him. So he turns into the handsome Rajkumar in front of Sundari. Arnav removes the mask from his face and reveals the Rajkumar. Everyone started clapping. He looked at Kushi and saw tears filling her eyes. He remembered her saying I wish I knew how a person can be both in one. His heart ached and he turned away and walked out of the hall. He wished he can tell her he wants to be only her Rajkumar forever.
