She was not a good mom herself. Did not raise a happy well-balanced kid, shrugged her duties towards her kid and abandoned her at 10.

Then she let her study coz someone else provided charity, but never let her forget her childhood trauma. In fact - she kept the evidence of it alive - knowing full well how it upsets her daughter.

She never taught her daughter to say please, sorry, thankyou. Never shows gratitude herself or tells her daughter - if someone does good to you, be grateful about it and try tp be good to them.

Never taught her to be polite and not answer back to elders.

Showed her that its all right to do as you please even if another party will get badly affected by it. In essence taught her selfishness.

Never accepted sarpanch verdict in G' childhood, and hence taught G too to disrespect established elected authority.

And today too - shields G's every mistake and keeps interfering in her married life and even keeps walking into their bedroom unannounced and gets into their conversations / spats.

She is the SOLE reason G is such a basket case today. Wonder when G will realize what morons her parents are !

Well said Hooked!! G's mother is the ultimate culprit!! Seeing G's life, one understands how important it is to have good mannered , cultured and ethical parents.

@ blue - She doesn't stop with shielding G's mistake...in fact she still infuses negativity in G , keeps advising her to be careful about that the 'other girl(Anandi)' who has plans to snatch off G's PATI which increased G's insecurities...She never misses a chance to poison G's already unbalanced mind!

Gauri's mother is perfect example of a bad parent and parenting. Hooked, How do you expect her to teach manners which she herself doesnt have 😡.

I can see the DNA getting carried over. gawari's mom was in rush to dump her daughter at haveli gates, not caring for her future and gawari madam was so carried away that she never thought for the poor fetus for one second.

Any mom to be would give her unborn the first priority. I have seen a woman who hates milk but drank gallons for her baby. I never in a episode saw gawari eating for her kid. Not to mention pizza and junk food , in spite of being a doctor. So gawari and her mom are no less.

As children anyone can influence you but once you are grown up and educated you have to use your brains, not others or borrowed ones!. If you can't judge then what was the use of education and exposure you got while studying???? It's one way ok that her uneducated and small thinking mom did all this but talking sky high and behaving well deep is not just because of insecurities!!
Boy oh Boy !!! this gal needs an asylum sooner or later!!

i would say Jagya because Gauri and her mom both have mental cases!... both of them need to go to the mental asylum. We know of normal people who are as stupid as Jagya, but we only know mental cases like Gauri and her mom's.
