Server Upgrade Completed Successfully

How are you all ? Well we know we have a longer TODO List to complete which has come from your side as suggestions and feedback.

India Forums have always been a growing community and we have to continuously upgrade our servers to keep our site one of the fastest website.

And the latest addition to our cluster of servers is the all new Intel E5 Processors which got released last month:

- Supermicro SC825TQ-563LPB 2U chassis ' 8x hot-swap drive bays

- Supermicro X9DRi-F Dual Intel Xeon E5-2600 Series Serverboard w/ onboard KVM over IP

- 2x Intel Xeon E5-2660 8-core processors w/ Hyperthreading

- 32GIG ECC/Registered DDR3 RAM (512GIG max)

- 4x 240GIG Intel 520 Series SSD's (RAID10)

- 1x 240GIG Intel 520 Series SSD

- LSI MegaRAID SAS 9260CV-4i 4-port controller w/ CacheVault

- 1x 1TB Western Digital RE4 Enterprise HDD (backup)

Coming this SUNDAY we are going to be moving the India Forums database which is now around 110 GB of text data and due to which the site may be down for around 2-3 hours.

We will keep you all informed about the same and we are certain that it will make the site even better and much faster. And will give us more flexibility in adding more features and functionality to the site.

Thats gr8 vijay bhaiya would love to see new features to be added to I-F :))) and thanks for informing 2-3 hrs away from I-F no probs as its for the betterment of I-F 😃
