UPDATE 12 JULY: Bone of contention

Throughout the dinner, Jassi notes the distance between Nandu and Beauty. It makes her uncomfortable. She keeps on recalling Beauty's statement that it was Raj's idea to give her a makeover.

Chaman keeps on gazing adoringly at Angel, who steadfastly ignores him. Angel is not talking to anyone. When Amrit offers her a second helping, she is about to refuse😡, but Ila nudges her and hisses, "Angel beta, don't be rude….thoda sa le lo na!"

Angel ungraciously takes the second helping. Billu notices her behaviour and frowns. Bua says to herself, "Yeh videshi titli samajhti kya hai apne-aap ko? Kitna akarti hai…issliye toh iska dulha bhag gaya! 😆Aakhir kaun karega isse shaadi?"

Then she notices Chaman staring at Angel and promptly slaps him under the table!😕

Back home, Jassi comes and sits down forlornly next to Armaan on their bed. Armaan puts his arm around her and sighs in a contented way.😳

Armu: Jassi, kitna achcha lag raha hai na? Sab saath-saath hai…..Mom, Dad, Angel, Vedika, tum, main,….aur hamara baby…..(caresses her stomach)

Jassi: (frowning) Nahin Armaan, mujhe sab kuch theek nahin lag raha…

Armu: Tch…ab kya hua Jassi? Mujhe toh koi problem nazar nahin aa rahi!

Jassi: (turning to face him) Armaan, tumne notice nahin kiya kya….Beauty Nandu se baat bhi nahin kar rahi thi…?

Armu: (shrugging) Haan, shaayad……lekin issme kuch naya nahin hai…Beauty ko shayad yeh nahin achcha laga ki nandu uss din Pari ko dinner pe leke gaya tha…

Jassi: Pata nahin Armaan….mujhe toh Pari se zyada, Raj ke kaaran yeh sab hota lag raha hai…!

Armu: Raj……???

Jassi: Raj ne hi toh Beauty ki nayi look dene ke liya bola tha na…..aakhir kyun..? Kyun wo Beauty mein itna zyada interest le raha hai?

Armaan grits his teeth in exasperation. "Jassi, tum baar-baar ussi topic pe kyun baat shuru kar deti ho? Kya hum aur koi baat nahin discuss kar sakte?"

Jassi: Lekin Armaan main…

Armaan: Good night, Jassi!

He turns over and lies down without another word, his face turned away from her. Jassi stares at him in distress for a few moments; then she switches off the lights and gets into bed too. Silence falls between them.😭

Next morning, Armaan leaves for GM without saying anything to Jassi. She stares after him and then makes up her mind.

A while later, Jassi enters GM with a bouquet in her hand. Nazneen and Ruby mom pounce on her delightedly.

Ruby mom: Jassi! What a surprise!

Nazneen: Subah-subah Gulmohur ki kaise yaad aa gayi?

Ruby mom: Aur ye bouquet kiske liye?

Jassi: (blushing) Aur kiske liye….Armaan ke liye…!

They go "O-ooo!" and stare meaningfully at Jassi, who bursts into girlish giggles.😛

Ruby: Jassi, tumhari progress kaise chal rahi hai? Regular check-ups kara rahi ho na?

Nazneen: Baby ka naam kya socha?

Ruby: Apna khayal rakhna….aur achchi tarah khana….

Jassi laughs and gently pushes them away. "Bas bas….ab meri baatein chodo aur batao….Gulmohur mein kya naya hai?"

Nazneen: (pouting) tumhare liye kya naya hoga….tumhe toh Armaan sir sab kuch bata dete honge…!

Ruby: Par shaayad….Armaan ko bhi ek baat nahin pata….

Jassi: (puzzled) Kya?

Naznnen: (smiling slyly) …..Ki unke best friend, unki saali mein aajkal bahut interest le rahe hain….!

Jassi: (taken aback) Kya keh rahe ho tum log….Raj….Beauty mein interest….

Nazneen: (wide-eyed) Haan Jassi…! Aajkal toh….

They launch into a detailed account of Raj's attentions to beauty over the past few days. Jassi listens with a concerned expression on her face.

After some time, there is a knock on Armaan's cabin's door. He absently says, "Come in!"

Jassi enters with the bouquet in her hand. Armaan looks up in astonishment.

Armu: (springing up and going to her) Jassi….tum yahan…..sab theek toh hai na..?

Jassi: (pouting) Nahin Armaan…..theek toh nahin hai!

Armu takes hold of her shoulders and implores, "Mujhe batao toh sahi…..baat kya hui hai?"

Jassi gently moves the bouquet directly in front of his eyes. "Yeh…!"

Armu stares at it, puzzled. "Yeh kya?"

Jassi: Yeh mera sorry hai!

Armu: Sorry…..oohh! Toh aap Gumlhour mein sorry bolne aayi hain!

Jassi: Haan…..kya karun….jab tak tum mujhse naaraz ho, tab tak mere liye kuch theek nahin ho sakta..!

Armu grins but then sobers up instantly. Taking the bouquet, he places it on his table; then, taking Jassi by the shoulders, he leads her to his chair and makes her sit down.

Armu: Jassi, tumhe aaram karna chahiye….aise achanak uth ke aa jana…

Jassi grabs hold of his arm. "Come on Armaan….main office hi toh aayi hun….wo bhi tumse milne….aur tum mujhse theek se baat bhi nahin kar rahe ho!"

Armu leans down towards her and smiles flirtatiously into her eyes. "Toh kis tarah ki baat karu, Mrs. Jasmeet Suri?"😉

Jassi: (softly) Sirf tumhari….aur meri!

They stare longingly at each other for several ecstatic moments. Then they burst out giggling and snuggle into each other's arms.😳😳😳

Tomorrow: Raj is asking Beauty about Nandu.

awwwww.......!!!!!!!!!!!! lovely!!!!! i cud imagine jassi.... in a blue n white saree with hair open, and armaan in a black suit...smhow..u hv just explained it so well that i cud imagine it happeninng n me watching on the tv screen....gosh i think i m really missin the arman-jassi magic........why can't AA-MS come together again?
