Ananya in M'wood's
next 3D film

The actress plays a vampire in an upcoming 3D film that promises to scare the daylights out of you

Asha Prakash

Mollywood actress Ananya is apparently playing a vampire in an upcoming 3D film Raktharakshassu. Starring opposite the lady is Sunny Wayne, of Second Show fame, who will be playing the lead role for the first time. The story revolves around the events that take place while a family is out on vacation. Veteran actor Madhu will be seen in a rather modern avatar.
In all probability, the film could be the second Malayalam film in 3D, after My Dear Kuttichathan. Incidentally, the director of photography of the earlier film, K P Nambiathiri, also happens to be handling the camera for this one. "This one is shot in stereoscopic 3D, not converted to it. The movie will be screened in 33 theatres in the state and will be dubbed in other languages too," says Rupesh Paul, one of the directors of the m ov i e. I n t e re s t i n g ly,
Raktharakshassu
has not been directed by one person, but by a group of friends. "It's a psychological thriller, not exactly a horror movie. The movie will have three climaxes, and the audience can choose their version of the ending," says Rupesh Paul.
