Saif was a cool spy, but we missed a Bond babe act from you... Saif was very sure from the beginning that he didn't want me to come out of the water in a two-piece and do the whole sexy Bond girl thing.
But would you have done it for your very own spy-to-die-for? Well, I did action scenes for Saif! Besides, every actress is donning a bikini these days. There's no USP.
With Kahaani and Agent Vinod, the thriller genre seems to be making a comeback... Yes, it's important to experiment with genres. How long are you going to watch the same old love stories?
Talking about Heroine, you said you're glad you won't be arm candy to SRK and Salman this time... Yeah, I mean it's good to be doing a woman-centric film. It's fun to sink your teeth into the character. Even though I love working with my Khans, I'm glad I have a film like this. I think Heroine was just destined to be mine. Madhur's films are entertaining and sensational. People look forward to his films."
With Vidya taking B-Town by storm, do you think heroines are the new heroes? The lines are merging for sure, but I don't think we can say that we're the heroes, because a small woman-centric film will still not do the same business as a Bodyguard or RA.One. I will consider that heroines have 'arrived' when we are given 60-70 crore films to carry on our shoulders.
Are you doing the Dabangg 2 item song with Malaika and Salman? Arbaaz has casually spoken to me about it. He's like family. I'll do it if he asks me to.
All Khans are like family to you, how do you manage to keep them happy? In this industry, it's important to be professional and do your work. There are no separate equations; it's all work-related.
