Aishwarya's kiss, Amisha's diss and Amitabh's bliss
Ash: Much ado about kisses - She is Bollywood's most talked about woman - Aishwarya Rai - and when she does something it is always written about. The latest buzz about her is that she has locked lips with another good looking bright-eyed actor, Hrithik Roshan for director Sanjay Gadhvi's Dhoom 2 in Brazil. And it's not the peck she gave ex-beau Vivek Oberoi in "Kyun... Ho Gaya Na" but a full on French kiss kinda smooch!! Though we don't believe this rumour, too many people are talking about it for us to ignore. The miss perfect Ash seems to know that after Rani, Kareena, Priyanka and even Preity she can't be left behind and had to join the kissing race! Editor: If you're reading this and are actually entertained by such "news", god help you. :)
Amisha's unglamorous - She has been tomtomming about her simple girl next door image since Gadar and Kaho Naa Pyar Hai even though she tried a glam role in Humraaz, but Amisha Patel seems to realize after many flops that she is best suited for regular, understated roles than the in your face sexy ones which she can't pull off - which explains why she chose two movies Tathastu and Ankahee and is playing a simple housewife in both. She elaborates, "Glamorous outfits, elaborate hairstyles and makeup don't constitute acting, the role makes the difference. Like her role in Gadar is "still remembered!" Yeah Amisha, you remember it too often for all of us!!! Editor: Oh my god, why so mean?
Amitabh in Guru Dutt's shoes? - After making remakes of old classic hits, Bollywood is now turning to its filmmakers. Mahesh Bhatt is making a film Woh Lamhe on his love story with Parveen Babi and now filmmakers have turned to legendary film director Guru Dutt for inspiration. Three new films are being planned on him and one of them might have Amitabh Bachchan playing Guru Dutt. Though Guru Dutt did make Kaagaz Ke Phool based on his own life, one will have to see how these movies turn out! Amitabh is also signed for a film based on the life of Satyajit Ray.
