Today we had another great 1 hour episode... With lots of emotions and the pheras of Yash and Aarti with Pratik and Paridhi.. The pheras were very nicely and elaborately done emphasizing on each promise.

Aarti has changed in to her daily cloths with her curtain draped over her shoulder. Still reeling from the shock and hurt she is stuffing her cloths in the suitcase and ready to leave everything behind. She comes and seeks blessings from Shobha and she sobbingly puts both her hands on her and blesses her. She moves toward father but Papa Dubey steps back and refuses to bless her. Aarti asks for the blessing telling him that she would not be able to go without his blessings.. Papa Dubey once again joins his palms and ask her to consider her decision. Once again he had to twist her arms by emotional blackmail... Aarti stands there crying but Papa Dubey tells her that she should learn to live with this lie of being widow of his son. He asks her to go from the back door with her son without his blessings or get ready for the wedding... He drags sobbing and protesting Shobha out of the room to give time to Aarti for this decision.

At the mandap everyone is now getting impatient for Yash's bride to come. Papa Schindhia is getting upset at Gayatri for not making sure that the bride arrives in time. He asks her to go and fetch her asap. He goes to welcome few guests and overhears the whispering for Yash's bride being late for some reason or two. He is more vexed at the situation and at Gayatri for not overseeing all these. Gayatri is still not moved from her position and Papa Schindhia really is mad at her. Yash was listening to all these and also few remarks from people. Gaytri is still not ready to go and get Aarti so Punkaj asks Vidhi to go and fetch Aarti. But before Vidhi takes a step Yash speaks and stops her saying that he will go and fetch Aarti himself. He gets up and with long stride walks toward Aarti's room. Outside her room Dubeys were waiting for Aarti knowing that she is stubborn and never know what she would do. Yash approaches them asking if Aartiji is in her room. Shobha nods and he moves forward and knocks on the door.. no one opens.. He pushes and walks inside and sees her near the dressing table adjusting her outfit. There eyes meet in the mirror and he says sorry. He looks at her anxious and upset face and tells her that he has observed that she wanted to tell him something and tells her that if she wanted to tell him anything she could tell him without any hesitation. He tells her that she can share what is troubling her. He also reminds her that he knows she tried to call him for that reason. Aarti's hope is rekindled again and she steps forward with trembling lips to tell him what was bothering her but at that precise moment her gaze falls on Gaytri and Vishi who walked in to get them. Her face shows the hesitation and Yash knew that they had company. Vidhi tells Yash that he cannot talk to the bride before the wedding and so they have come to get her. She also wisely tells that bride is ready and people are talking for no reason. So taking the charge of delicate situation Vidhi leads them out. Dubeys heave the sigh of relief..

But Aarti walks with a protesting heart but still does what her FIL wanted her to do. She still wants to share the truth at least with Yash if not with the entire family. Well with this delay Aarti scores another negative point with Gayati...

All are gathered near the Mandap surrounding the wedding alter. Gayatri asks to pay respects to their respective deceased spouses. For Yash it was easy to pay homage to his wife and remembering his wedding rituals... He closes his eyes with tears and pay respects to his wife. And now it was Aarti's turn. It was very hard for Aarti to pay respects to her live ex-husband. Her hands were like heavy stone which would not move to receive the water and flowers for homage. Papa Schindhia was getting irritated by this delay. Gayatri orders to proceed as the ceremonies were already delayed due to her late arrival. At last Aarti's trembling hands receives the flowers and water. She was asked to remember him and pay her last respect. She closes her eyes but only remembers their running around in the garden. She was asked to drop the flower in the pot but her arms would not move on their own accord. Her dilemma was holding up everyone. And the Schindiha were getting upset with all her behavior. Papa Dubey had to go and literally force her to drop her flowers. And in doing so knowingly or unknowingly He also paid homage to his live son and considered him dead for real and also He himself approved the demise of his son in the eyes of society...

I was little skepticle about this ceremony being conducted now at the wedding time but than when I thought deeply about it and I felt that it was rightly done as by this ceremony Yash and Aarti paid homaage to their spouses and as if let them go by paying their last respect as from now on both will be bounded by another pheras and another vows and they have to let them go gradually to be faithful to this new set of phera and vows... I think it was brilliantly done..

During this ceremony Arpita's mom and dad had tears in their eyes knowing that was the last moment of Arpita in Yash's life and going forward their daughter's right on Yash was gone and he is going to be someone else husband and as if they felt like they had lost a son today... Yash had a deep sorrow in his heart as if he had to let go of her and accept someone in her place.

Than the pheras start...Yash was asked promises to honor this wedding and stay faithful and provide for his wife and consider her friend and share everything with her. His heart feels piercing pain remembering his joy and happiness with Arpita while taking the phera with her. His eyes with twinkle and hers full of joy and how he took her hand while taking phera. But this was done mechanically as this was being done for the welfare of their children and not for him. Though when he took the promises he knew he will be true to his words and will not differ from it. Though he is not marrying for himself but he is still getting married to this woman and he will fulfill his duties as he is taking these vows in front of the elders... the society... And the holy wedding fire...

Aarti was asked to take the lead with three pheras where she also had to promise to be faithful and truthful and consider her husband her friend and share with him everything honoring and respecting him his wishes and taking care of him and the household for the betterment of the family...

Yash and Aarti both knew that they have taken oath and they will keep it for the sake of their children.

Pratik and Paridhi also took the pheras with the fun and flair of the couple in love.

Then came the putting on Sindoor... Yash did that with trembling hand dusting the powder on Aarti's nose. Ansh asked him if he played holi with his mom. That bringst him back to the present and his duty towards his new wife. He takes out his handkerchief and wipes the extra sindoor from her nose. His sense of duty and honor is a thing to watch.. Seated in the mandap even before the whole rituals were conducted he did his duty and helped Aarti from getting messy with Sindoor.. That shows he will be always mindful of her comforts and will protect her from any stain in her life... Everyone was surprised at his gesture but not the parents of Arpita as they knew their SIL is a gem of a man.

Then it is followed by the mangalsutra ceremony... The lifting of mangalsutra from the tray throws Yash in the flashback with Arpita... How happy he was to make Arpita his on their wedding day and how happy she was to get those rights from him. The soft smile they shared was beautiful to watch.

Gurmeet and Shweta were great in that wedding scenes..

Here Aarti's whole body and soul are protesting this marriage and this ceremonies but she has to go through it like a punishment. Her eyes never stop crying and Yash did not miss anything but he did understand as he was going through the same pain.

Both the weddings were conducted and Yash and Aarti step down from the Mandap to touch the feet of their elders. They went to Papa and Ma Schindhia and then to Arpita's parents. And Pratik and Paridhi just went to Schindhias.

All were happy with the conclusion of double wedding and specially Pa Schindhia was happy to gain one more feather in his cap with this remarriage...

Vidhi made arrangement for the new brides to spend some time with their friends before their departure to their in-laws house. So some dances and some masti with Paridhi and few TV Stars..

While the girls were teasing Paridhi about her coming first night... Aarti was feeling uncomfortable thinking what might be her fate... She was panicking looking at the festivity and fun girls were having with Paridhi. Paridhi was really excited about the upcoming time with the man she loved and Aarti was in dilemma knowing what takes place in the 1^st night with the husband...

She is thinking about having a word with Yashji before the farewell... Dear Aarti do not be afraid you are not in any danger from the noble and truly gentleman Yash...

So the wedding was concluded...

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Yash Schindhia and

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Pratik Schindhia...

So after all the high tension and drama... Aarti stills walk in the marriage with a misconception about Yash and with a lie her parents has spoken and with reputation of a rebellious lady who does not listen to her elders and Ansh being the outspoken kid... not good impression with Ma and Pa Schindhia. So let's see how Aarti will adjust in this new house where she is not allowed to voice her thoughts...

Yash knows that something is bothering Aarti and he will try to help her out but let's see if Aarti will trust him enough to share her dilemma...

Time will tell people so keep watching Puner Vivah where we have reached the destination and now stars the second the phase of the story where we will join the journey with Yash and Aarti in their new lives... their adjustment with each other and their kids and with the family... Get ready to have fun Puner Vivah...
