YES, he was acting when she joked about how her dying would be the happiest day of his life and how his expression became worried, hurt, alert and so utterly and completely in love.

Arnav bitwa, ab billi baste se bahar nikal chukki hai. Catwa Bagwa se outwa ho chukki hai.

i have always loved his "ACTING"...😳

he really doesnt need words/dialogues...coz his eyes can put a shame to any damn dialogue...😳

Have to applaud the writers of this show.. Ignoring the Comic(tragic) they often bring up, they give us brilliant dialogues..

Yes, he was acting when each time she wears red his eyes get caught up in her and he cant see/hear/feel anything else. Sure he was.
