OS : The April Fool

Heyoo! Fams how are all of y'all? OKAY so I should be revising but I wanted to take a break and I begun typing this. I know everyone is really concerned as to what is Arnav gonna do when he finds out about Shyamu's truth, well what about everyone else? So this is my shot on how I would prefer it

The April fool

As Anjali begun taking off her ornaments of the day she begun to recall the incidents of the previous days. Her husband was beginning to get out of hand, he would touch Khushi with an excuse of bumping into her or at the dinner table pretending to go for the same dish as her, and her brother was no less he just sat there watching it all. She knew that he knew what his brother-in-law was up to so why did he just sit there was the question that kept drifting into her mind.

Anjali had realised Shyams truth ages out, when he had constantly flitted around from one place to another claiming his 'work' was keeping him busy. And then Khushi's father had confirmed her suspicion. Shyam Jha was a lying deceitful man. She had overcome this,she was stronger than before and knew that Khushi was not to blame. She was as innocent as anything her fate was just not mapped out right. But now the matter at hand was how her Chotey had come about to the truth.

Once she had finished brushing her hair and changing Anjali had made her decision. She had to tell Chotey about the truth, there was no question. She couldn't let him ruin his own life, neither could he let her ruin Khushis life again.

It was a new day for the all. As Arnav showered after coming back from his morning jog he noted the change in both his sister and his wife. There was a difference in the air, it wasn't calm like he liked it to be. It was different, it was confusing. Coming out the shower towel drying his hair he looked around trying to get a glimpse of his wife. But she was not there.

Putting on his shirt he heard a knock on the door, hurriedly doing his buttons he went to retrieve the person behind it. But to his shock it was two people. The first being a very strong looking Di and the second his distressed looking wife.

"Di kya hua?" He asked letting them both in.

"Chotey I need to ask you a question, and I expect an honest answer"

"Off-course di"

"Did you marry Khushi because of what my husband told you?"

Shocked Arnav looked at his sister 'How did she know?' unless his wife told her what relationship she shared between Shyam. Looking at his wife he saw her eyes glazing and looking down. Taking quick steps towards his wife he grabbed her by the arms.

"I told you I wouldn't let anything happen to my sister, how dare you-

"Chotey stop it! Just stop it! How could you?" Anjali intervened between the two. Breaking his strong hold on Khushi, she stood between the two acting as a shield for his wife.

"You Chotey you? How could you? First Shyam ruins her life now you? What is wrong with you two?"

"Ruined? What do you mean ruined, Di don't believe the lies that Khushi is telling you"

"What lies? She never told me anything, I told her, I told her what my so called husband has been doing, Shyam lied to you chotey he lied to us all"

"Di I don't understand"

"Fine let me explain" And Anjali begun to narrate the whole story out to Arnav, pausing when necessary, looking at him, showing him the truth.

"Khushi kept mum for me chotey, yet you still hurt her, now you tell me what is the difference between you and my husband?"
