IPKKND falling apart by the seams. LOST the MAGIC

I feel in love with the story because of its tight hold on the story and progression. But as a writer, I cannot help feeling that things have been dragging lately, more so than acceptable. I don't feel the same excitement lately (last 3 weeks or so). Anyone else feel that way? I am not into non-tycoony theme parties, business decisions and participation in society parties when there is a forced marriage and a killer looming about. I don't think they need to drag it so far. Come one, Shyam's truth cannot be the whole scope of the story now can it. There are so many ways to go as the fan fic writers have shown us. Making progress won't kill you CVs!

I feel as a writer and a viewer that I am looking interest since the awards. Hope it is only a Sanaya vacation glitch. But I have a feeling that given the performance of IPKKND in March, that is not the sole reason. Where have all the good writers gone?

Before the sensitive little ones freak out on me and call me a "basher," please look up the definition. This is criticism and a well-meant one. It is not a happy post and I am not fawning over the show but that does not mean I like Sarun or Arhi any less. So please spare me that lecture. I am asking the mature (not age wise, just anyone who can take a criticism) for their take on this view. What do you think? Has there been a downward trend lately?

After Holi week..the story totally mess up...high emotion to comedy...no consistency...I m also feel that tight grip is loosing..intense lovestory is missing...I hv no clue for last episodes...dabba bussiness..shetty bros...ASR mute...😕..now new promo of dance competetion...😲...dont know where the story going...neway mega serial will be like that...hope it will be better coming weeks...😊

I agree because in America, they keep showing the beginning promos over and over again, and that upsets me because those promos have nothing to do with what's happening in the story right now. I mean the intensity of the promos and the effect of that music on me was immensely strong. I am referring to the promo where she says " in aankhon meins irf nafrat dikhaye deti hai" and he replies, " Kyunki mohabbat in mein dard ban kar rehti hai"...Nowadays there is SO much comedy that it feels like I am watching another show with the same couple. I said I wouldn't watch, but I couldn't stay awat because of my love for ArHi . However, I feel like the popularity of the couple is being taken for granted. They keep coming up with weak ideas like parties and competitions, but if you look at the story, nothing makes sense anymore. It's not even AS entertaining as it was when LA was here, because at that time, the emotions displayed by Arnav and Khushi were STRONG, be it attraction or love or hate or confusion. They had meaningful interactions that progressed their relationship. These days, after each episode, I'm left wondering whether any substance is left in the show or not 😕

Something is definitely wrong, I was watching the October and November episodes yesterday and had to pinch myself to remind myself that these are the same actors, Where has that intensity gone???? Lousy screenplay and direction😔 .is to blame I think.

You are right, everytime I see those intense promos on star plus in America, I feel sooo SAD because the promos and episodes from a few months ago had so much depth to them, but now it seems as if all the magic has faded. It feels like I am watching only because I have gotten accustomed to watching it, not because it's amazing like it was in the beginning.

How do we bring this to the attention of the CVs?

They said strong reactions to immediate shows is overrated because every event is planned to affect the story but now it has been at least a month of dragging and I see no consistency. Speaking at a writer, it is crap.

How do we bring this to their attention without getting lost in the fan mail?

CVs! If you can't write good stories anymore, let us fan fic writers know. We sometimes write better for free! And given how many similar scenes have showed up in the show, you read it too. Time to give us some credit.

Even though I love IPKKND and Barun and Sanaya as well as the entire cast... I 100% agree with you...The show has been dragging and they need to throw the spotlight on more significant things now !
It is high time !

IPK has definitely spiraled down to a creative void where nothing sells like recycled episodes and themes.
Rabba Ves - done to death
She-falls-he-catches - done to death
Dance - been there done that, and doing it again and again
Costumer party - been there at sangeeth, done that and repeat it
comedy for the sake of comedy (not situational or innate) - endless loops

i am sick of the same old jig. the freshness? thrown to the dogs.
