We all must really thank Ekta ji for believing in Sakshi ji's talent and launching her in 'Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki'...to be frank with you, I haven't seen a single episode of that serial...I have only heard her name...I never knew who she was until I saw her in Bade Acche Lagte Hain...I just browsed through the stills of 'Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki'...Sakshi ji looked so young and charming...her beauty and grace has never reduced with her age...it has only increased...she is the best actress TV industry has ever produced...doing roles beyond her age ( as she did in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki ) is a really challenging task...hats off to her talent and Ekta ji for recognizing it...there is no comparison between Parvati Bhabi and Priya Bhabi...both of them are good in their own ways...I bow my head to both these characters...ur views are welcome on this...

Yeah i knew about KGGK- and Sakshi but never watched the show very intently or regularly..i was never i regular soap watcher...and considered her as just another popular but a decent TV Actress...

BALH has made me stand and take notice of her..and i have gone back and all watched available KGGK videos..and was more amazed and intrigued with her acting ...What a stark difference is in her portrayal of the Priya and Parvati both are as different- as chalk and cheese. You must also watch her performance as Teepri in Balika vadhu- an out and out psychotic negative character..she has adapted a very different demeanor, body language voice tone, use of language for each of these characters.

Parvati-is very 'proper',poised calm and composed. The 'voice tone' and her mannerisms are way too mature...speeks pure hindi most of the time.

Priya-is a bit carefree, fiery, fiesty. a bit goofy (as shown in initial episodes)-at the same time very graceful, vivacious ..a todays girl. Her voice tone ranges from being serious, sometimes naughty, sometimes screechy when angry...sometimes that of a small innocent naive girl and

speaks 'hinglish.'

Teepri-Is a typical rural Rajasthani woman..who is very traditional but has an evil and psychotic side..looks like a normal village woman most of the time..but sometimes has the evil and a mad glint in her eyes and her facial expressions--she has done it so well nothing less, nothing more just perfect. She talks in a local Rajasthani dialect..

When I see these three roles --I wonder whether it is the same person performing!!!

There are very few actors---who convincingly portray different characters so well..

It's all the more very difficult to do so in television than films-because television is so time bound that one has to deliver at such a fast pace and you hardly get any time to prepare for your roles..

I even find Ram as an equally brilliant performer. Would like to write about him in some other post some other time..
