while every1 is talking about megha,mohan,guru,nanhi n their superb acting-chemistry,i feel one member of vyas family is lil overlooked.

she is not shown as a likable personality n is mainly to add comic flavour to the show alongwith chanchal,guru n she has been perfect to her job till now.

i appreciate her concern,caring nature towards her son which becomes a cause of fetching anguish from other family members especially her husband on fewer occasions.she knows her teenage son is a spoilt brat but still tries to overprotect him whenever he gets caught.(when sanjay finds thousand rupees in his bag,renu hides his wrong deeds saying she had given those money to him)

she puts her whole focus,blood n bone,all the money dreaming in educating her son C.A.,not bothering if she had to compromise sending megha's kids to some low-standard schools for that reason.

when she sees megha getting respect,privilidges from family n outside world,as any other daughter-in-law of the same family,she is jealous on her n decides to look for a job so as to prove her identity which later creates funny incidents.

and now today when tanu is caught as a monkeyman,first she fights for her son calling mohan a LAFANGA.but as soon as he is found guilty,she cannot hide disappointment,dispair on her face especially after seeing that camera in those stolen things.i like those shocking expressions of her.

i'm sure she'll be in a big shock after getting betrayed from her own son.i don't know how the story will unfold.but i will always enjoy her plotting with chanchal and tussles with guru.

and yes,how can i forget her DHAMAKI filled urging to lord shankar,her avataar as BHANG drunk parvatimata,her accent in typical MP language,her pronouncing MINKIMAN...hahaha...

hats off to renu a.k.a. rinku karmarkar...

Nice post... she is a brilliant actress... in fact my father also says that she terribly good in her performance.

As far as the actress Rinku Karmarkar is concerned - she's been fantastic so far! 👏 her portrayal of Renu is flawless, and all the shades she brings out to her - it's hard imagining the original actress any other way. I also have a secret liking for her slightly cracked vocals 😆

But for the character of Renu - and most things you mentioned, I disagree. I've always maintained she's not an evil vamp - but she is also not the kind of character you appreciate for virtues. Her means and ways are all self-centered; and her love and concern for her son, as you say, is too blind to do her son any good. In general - the making of what Tanu has turned out to be is entirely Renu's doing - so as a mother, she should score a negative IMO.

No offense intended to anyone's otherwise opinion of course.

yes,i do agree,as a mom,renu should hv been disciplined when it comes to bringing up ur child.but she was always too linient.as a result of which we see what tanu is today.

but i like the way she calls him LADOO.

one always wants some1 in the house/family to stand for u,console u when u know u r wrong n u r ready to repent.i'm sure renu will be the only one who will be on tanu's side due to her blind love when the whole family bash him for his wrong deeds.only contradiction here is tanu will never be on the repentant side.n he'll continue to be a bad boy.

I think we're on different pages with regard to Renu 😊 To me she never was, nor is the mature compassionate mother who stands up for her son because she intends to correct him sans the autocratic ways of the family. On the contrary. She has not correctional intentions, because in her head her "ladoo" is ideal. And I find nothing to admire about that rosy blinder she wears for her very ill-witted son.

Ranu Is That Type Mother if her son do murder someone then also she said galti samne vaale ki hogi.i think her this attitude never change.

I think she was in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki..I still remember that show As i hv grwn up watching Kyunki and Kahani..There she was SakShii tanwars..Sis In Law
