I deserve this pain, let me bear it
This scene is after shaym being sent to jail after every one came to know his ugly face. Arnav confess to his family and Gupta family about truth of his marriage and seek their forgiveness. But he deliberately not told them about his six month contract marriage. It was one day left till this contract ends. Mean while he was deeply surprised to see Khushi kept her silence. She did not utter a single word until now. Her silence gave him a hope that may be she wants to be with him. This very thought was eating him from inside that she will leave him. He was surprised to see her Di's reaction. He thought her to be very weak and emotional. But she kept her grounds well enough. She was at his side as always providing him support and strength all this time.
Once they were back in the four walls of their room. She starts opening the closet and taking her stuff out. First she took out all her dresses and then her shoes.
"What are you doing?" He asked realizing his worst thoughts are coming true.
"I am packing my stuff?" she replied continuing her work.
"But why?" he asked although he knew the reason very well.
"You ask funny questions Mr. Raizada. Don't you know the answer?" she asked curtly
"But you do not have to leave Khushi" he started but Khushi cut him in
"Why Mr. Raizada? You married me for a reason and your mission is accomplished now and there is no need of me in your life now."
"Look Khushi I know I should have not treated you like that but I am really very sorry" he started again
But Khushi stopped him again
"Sorry? Only one word sorry can compensate to all the mental and physical torture you put me through all these days? Can it hold back my all shattered dreams?
"I know I am your culprit was wrong all the while and never thought to ask you about your view. Deep down in my heart I know that you are innocent but my mind was not accepting it. I believed on what I saw." He said bowing his head trying to hide his tears.
"I can't believe that you are the same person whom I…" she said
"Whom you what Khushi?" he said coming closer to her
"Whom I loved" she finished. Arnav couldn't believe his ears
"But all the time you were punishing me for the sins I have never committed. You always thought that I deserve this pain. And you are right. It was my fault that I loved a person like you. Who never trusted me, married me not for himself but for winning his Di's happiness. What was I for you a mere pawn in your game, which you wanted to win at all cost? In that battle you sacrificed me without giving me a single thought." she finished
"Please Khushi give me a second chance do not leave me." He begged
"You think that it is easy for me to leave you. For me you were and are everything. I always considered you as my husband. You will always be the only one whom I loved and stayed with. But I have to go. I can't stay with you. You always mentioned that I deserve this pain, so I'll bear it alone" she said .her belongings are packed now.
Arnav could feel his breaths are stopping now. He remembers his Di's words and understands them now
"Khushi don't you think I deserve a second chance?"He holds her arms and made her turn towards him.
"Look I am admitting I was wrong. I mistrusted you and treated you badly but this all because I couldn't see you with someone else. I was coming to tell you that how much I love you when I saw you hugging that creep. I was shattered too. You are the only girl in this world, to whom I lost my heart .it was unbearable, and he told me that you two have a relationship. I do not know any other way to keep you with myself. I can't lose you again. Please don't go." He said
Khushi was stunned to hear his confession.
"Arnav ji" she said cupping his face. All her determination to leave him vanished in a sec and she saw beads of sweet forming on his forehead. And she felt his body temperature was decreasing
"Arnav ji" she shouted when she realized he was losing his balance and his eyes were close
"Oh DM he has not taken his diabetic medicines for sure" reality struck her
"Arnav ji" she holds him and made him to lay on his bed. Looking in the drawer she found a sweet which she immediately put in his mouth
After few second he seemed to regain his senses.
"How are you Arnav ji?" she asked with concerned voice
"I'll be fine as long as you stay with me" he said holding her right hand and smiling weakly.
Khushi did not replied back
"Khushi?" he said again
"I'll die without you" he said
"Please don't say that" she said putting her hand on his lips
"I am not going anywhere" she assured him. While he kissed her fingers touching his lips, while his heart dance with the joy he felt. In that moment he promised himself to gave every possible happiness of this world to this one woman, and never let her go
