For once I am happy with the news that SP is having the show end... there are reasons for that...

The story began with the premise of how a rich and spoilt brat comes in to a middle class family, falls in love, finds a mother and sisters and brothers galore in a caring and sharing manner and her change... that has been achieved... but the last few weeks while fun to watch to see how a daily soap actually gets done... is now OTT and needs to close... instead of cruelly screwing up all our fave characters and butchering the story line with one or the other turning villainous like the way Rano is now... I would rather they take a bow , leaving awesome memories in each of the viewers mind and maybe come back after a year or so as SEASON 2 when Suhana and Ishaan are parents ... to maybe 2 cute kiddos... than take leaps right now and mess with the whole story line... of young ones acting like aging stars and turning this amazingly beautiful home into a conspiracy and back biting and therefore our heroine suhana having to resolve... etc... kinda story...

Sometimes, it is better to take a BOW and leave on a high note than to stay and butcher the story line and the characters all of us love so much... u can only beat the story so much... not any more...

I would say the decision to quit was a justified one but I would be really happy if they had wrapped up all the tracks before quitting. Plus there is no lying about that we won't miss Suhana, her smile and her cheerful family. Seriously it was a classic..

Talking about season 2 I don't share the same point of view. SGP wasn't written keeping another season in mind. Some gr8 classics like Hum Paanch, Tu Tu Main Main did try try to make a comeback but ended up in a huge disaster. So I don't want SGP2 to suffer from that. I want SGP sitting proudly amongst the hall of fame of Classics.

Just pray that Sushaan comes back in a pair..

^I agree Indian TV and sequels just are not meant to be...Hum Panch 2 was jus a disaster, Kutumb 2 was crap, Kitni Mohabat Hai 2 started out good but then same old same old and Ba Bahu Aur Baby also degraded in quality

I don't want SGP season 2 because then we would constantly compare it to the first and better one and also because technically SGP itself is a remake so I doubt they would do a sequel of a remake

I'm glad that a show like SGP has achieved so many accolades in it's three years and the cast has gotten the recognition it deserves...I'm hoping that some of them end up working together again...because to have them all in a show seems like impossible

@ zackey and Tani --- you know... you folks are right... Indian TV has not been very successful with Sequels... and tend to ruin them .. so there should be no season 2 at all./...but I hope they end the series on a high note and take a bow for the wonderful acting of the entire cast... they were amazing!!!!

Kudos to all of you - the cast of SGP ... Badi maa specially.. she was my fave !!!

But hopefully, they will focus on the main story and get out of some of the silly tracks currently on and hopefully redeem Rano's character that they have butchered so badly...

Now that ending is confirmed I want some good ending... OBS also had a maha ending... I hope they finish it with deepak-sanjana track.

The only reason sgp is going off air is poor quality of writters,honestly they appear to be super dumb because they ruined such a good going show by intrnducing some out of the world tracks which were liked only by the people out of this world.take example of this serial track,chalo serial shuru kiya to kiya par stupid writters ne star plus ke sabse hit serial sns ko target kyun kiya,ab bhugto.star plus wont tolerate this as it started to affect the trp of sns and they decided to kick sgp out.there is no sense at all in continuing serial track for two months.i hope when ragini comes back on then her show has good quality of up to date writters.moreover sgp also got more on the predictable side like everytime suhana is in trouble then bm comes to rescue and when there is family problem then suhana comes to rescue only because she is the main lead,that doesnt make sense at all.the writters of this show certainly deserve kudos for making a trp ruler show good for nothing

I am actually glad they showed up a serial like SNS which was glorifying some very regressive stories... So I am not sad about that at alll... I just think that story lines have dried up and therefore they should close this... I just hope SNS is taken off air too!!!!

Wow..I am so pleasantly surprised!! You elaborated rather well, I must say!! Well done😃 I agree to a certain extent but why would they blame SGP for SNS's decline in TRP's? If it was that good then surely the loyal viewers would stand by it !! Wouldn't they?

Except... where you said.. that SGP pulled/targeted SNS and hence, SNS's trp is dipping... 😕

how can that be possible... 😕 upar se SGP is marketing SNS 😆😆😆 uska to TRP badhna chahiye tha... 🤣 but honestly... that is not the case here... SNS ka TRP kam huaa coz 2 sal se wahi constipated looks de rahe hai... Audience thak gai dekhte dekhte... 🤣

and SP axing SGP coz they wanna introduce new show... right now only SGP's trp is under 3 and moreover... SGP is already more than 2 years old show... isiliye they decided to pull it off... [this is my conclusion😃] what else can you expect from TRP hungry channel 🤢
