Teri Meri was courtship, wooing the gentle maiden, expressing his love to her in public in a silent manner, overwhelming her with his passionate intentions etc. It left Khushi flustered and silent for a couple of days after the event.

The dance on 27 March was something else altogether. It started out as a formal, uneasy one, where both were unwilling to do it, and scared of revealing their true feelings for each other.

And then came my fav cupid with his trademark look at Khushi, the look that is sure to blow the fuse of Arnav's temper. And an angry Arnav is an impulsive and foolish one. He doesn't stop to think before he acts. The rose arrangement that Shyam gifted K tweaked his temper. The look that Shyam gave Khushi during the dance totally, totally freaked Arnav out.

This dance was all about showing who owns Khushi, body and soul. He was challenging Shyam to question his claim. He was literally drawing the lines around Khushi, marking his territory. Look at the way his hands and fingers move on Khushi's body. He touches her with confidence and right, the right of her husband. Khushi is initially shocked, but his possessiveness has never seemed wrong to her as she has always considered him to be hers. He swings her around, turns her, drops her, catches her, twirls her, props her up, lifts her...and she willingly gives herself away to him. What shone through this dance was Arnav's possessiveness ...matched by khushi's TRUST in him.

When the dance ends, Khushi is close to his heart, their hearts beating as one. His anger has been cooled, she has satisfied his need to possess her, she is where she is supposed to be, and he has successfully sent out the message that she is his, only his, and that he is very territorial when it comes to her. What he has, he holds...and never lets go. All thieves and lechs, beware!

Loved your take.. Nothing else to add.. Yes, this dance was display of possessiveness, passion, triggered by hurt and jealousy.. And as he pulled in all the moves initially, subsequently her acceptance made him attune to her.. - and as you beautifully put - in their ends - their hearts were beating as one.. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.. 😳
