After the run feast y'day, session1 was a repeat telecast post which the play got delayed due to poor weather conditions. Now only the Rain God can obviously save the bowling team. There was enough dressing room action that's gonna make the game interesting tomorow. Session 1 today was all about the leads building parternship, "one match hit" Ayesha wanting to take the limelight,Nuts playing the pinchhitter role to perfection. Post which only the evil trio's reactions to the run feast and drama of the wanna be star Ayesha and batsmen praising their captain over tea break.😳
Batting team highlights:
1)Haye Raam : Ram kapoor chides his wife for not knowing his name. And wants her to call him Raaam😍 Priya Kapoor feels shy and insists on continuing Mr kapoor which is rejected by the man himself. After all, she was his wife and not his secretary was the argument. Sixer maara aur woh bhi helicopter shot!!😉 Madamji promises to surely try and gets him back to the ground(his office!). She cutely tries to practice it too.. 😳Wonder how sometimes calling someone Polar Bear, Dinosaur, Golu Kapoor,Tablet Kapoor and etc etc.. is easier than their own name..😆
2)Drama queen of the team: Shipra the spokesperson continues her rant about press reports and wants to announce to the whole world with a loud speaker.. I say why waste a loud speaker ? You and ur Jr are very effective yourselves.. Stop wasting money..😆
3)Distraction on field : Shipra calls the incumbent batswoman Priya Kapoor to share the reports and wants the star to congratulate the Ms World (Yes.. in one interview in useless Times paper does that!!). The whole Sharma's (Ex and present!) are busy rejoicing the news of another Ms Bhubaneswar.. err. Ms World has made it to the news. While the batsmen PK gets carried away and reminds the Ms World about the optimistic approach in life, a call comes from the other side of the crease to get back to the field. Pk decides to go since "Yeh" office ja rahe hai😉 No name calling yet..😆
4)Romance on-field : RK is still trying to get his name through to PK. But to no avail and is being distracted with Food.. That's hard to resist so the batsmen follow to the breakfast table. Rk informing Dadi about the statue inuguration to his office and crediting his dear wife PK for all the efforts.. PK smiling and embarrased about all the praises.. And i was secretly hoping.. May be.. Today she would reveal Rishabh's contribution. Nope.. Will keep hoping till the inauguration itself.😳 Ram tries to get her remember abt the new name calling rule which is cleverly put off by Priya. They forget the game and indulge in their own bubble. Even in Privacy, Ram fails to get her to call his name. Priya leaves the field for her classes and Ram gets back to work.
5) Think tank Natasha Kapoor - Since the lead batsmen are busy romancing, somebody had to take charge of the team. Natasha Kapoor steps in and analyses the opposition team. Bang.. She figures out the strategy of their lead bowler Sid. Knowing the vulnerability of the youngest spoilt brat player in the team, she reaches out to provide the needed warning. Lo and Behold..Little did she realise that the players were beauty with no brains.
By this time, the weather conditions have clearly worsened and the play is cancelled for the day. So the rest of the action happens in the dressing room.
6) Brains or beauty. Can't get them both - So our Natasha Kapoor interjects the Sharma's happy go lucky party to make the important announcement. As expected, the Ms World gets worked up on the question of integrity of her current helper Sid from the opposition. While the genuine pleas of understanding Sid's intentions are placed by Nutz who tries her best to provide the over all picture of sudden changes in Ayesha's life, Ms No brains is in no mood to listen. In turn questions Nutz for her intentions since she was the cause of the whole wardrobe malfunction. Ms Jr No brains gets all kicked and wonders if her sudden walk of fame is reverse of the trap she was put in. Hence the hulla bulla. While Nutz tries again to get some fertliizer in the Ms No brains, oh no.. Ms Sr Nobrains joins in to blame her. Whoa!! Now who can argue with Ms Bhubaneswar and Ms World or the SR/Jr No brainers? A defeated Nutz is finally given an opinion by the ever mute spectator Mr Sudhir the wise man gone silent. But again, the Jr claims to be rather wrong for her own choice this time and stages a walk out!
7)Surprise - Surprise.. Still continues. : RK's lawyer who has been surprised with back to back performances has closed the deal. The papers have been made ready and Mr Kapoor(Ram!) can't wait to share it with PK. But he makes a decision to wait for PK to call him by his name before disclosing it.
8) Tea break - Since the captain is out for legal matters, Vice captain(PK!) and all rounder(Neha) catch up over tea. Priya shares the whole washroom scene revisit and goes on the spree of Mr Kapoor's good and bad. Her sweet talks get Neha teary eyed and then does Mrs Kapoor stop her raving abt her husband. Neha shares the genuine happiness about how Vik and Neha knew Ram ever since college days and how he was always a sincere person. How they always wanted someone to truly love him as a person not the personality.Priya gets all shy and receives an SMS from captain at the same time.😉 Neha takes credit for their togetherness since her gussa was the reason Ram tried manofying her and walked to the washroom in the 1st place.
9) SMS - All India free scheme:
Ram Kapoor who hardly does productive work these days in office except day dreaming and transfering companies to his wife's name now has taken up a new hobby. Flirt over SMS.. Thanks to All india free sMS scheme😆 Yes.. ofcourse Family plan.. Since Pk wouldn't reply otherwise..😆 He asks her if she knows his name by now. And Priya replies that after having all grown up.. he still doesn't remember it😆 I say. What a waste of an SMS. Will make a post later on effective convos in SMS for these two.
Post some teenagerish texts follows the teenagerish reactions of love struck couple.. Get back to the game .. you too.. Poor Nutz has gotten stuck with crazy players there.
Opposition team:
They were pretty much reduced to spectators with all the action happening in the Session 1. While Nih and Mamaji were getting worried, Sid the star assures them of the impending dhamakha.
Tomorrow's precap :
Nutz remembers the Vice captain's wise words during the team meet and decides to call her for help. She meets the ladies at Tea break and informs them of the strategy of Sid the bowler. While Priya is thinking around, Neha butts in to support Nutz reading of Sid and mentions the proof.
Day 3 Session 2 continues tomorrow. And it's gonna be interesting. The war is on the open. Teams have been fragmented. Captain would be involved tomorrow and may rubbish the vice captain to bother about their own team rather than opposition. Will sparks fly within the team? Will the pinchhitter carry the team on her shoulders incase of the lead batsmen retiring hurt? Will the oppositions seamers get them a wicket or leave them scrambling once again? All in all, an nail biting session coming up. Stay tuned and don't miss the fun.
