If Hitesh Kewalya was on vacay all these days, it seems he's back with this one line. "Ab aap chahe na chahe, hum aapke gale pad hi gaye". I liked the pun and also the allusion to the fact that whatever Arnav may have in mind, this one is for keeps.

That one moment when he realises that she could sense what he wanted, without even turning to look at him first was one of the most romantic moments between the two in the past week or so. It hinted a deep connection and bond that seems hard to fathom for even the two involved. Loved it!

Hitesh Kewalya?? Who is that?

But yes that one moment that you described was nice - The connection by the door. He mouths it, She tunes in to it. The only part where the whole "Pushpak" sequence made some sense to me.

Hitesh is the dialogue writer for IPKKND. All those wonderful Maami-isms, Khushi-isms, Arnav-isms - we have Hitesh to thank for them. He's apparently also a talented musician and song-writer. He does a great job with the IPKKND lines - given the kind of hard deadlines he has to work with.

I have a friend who is a CV on another daily soap (won't name) and so I know just how hard it is to write regularly and consistently while also dealing with the almost daily criticisms and brickbats from the audience (and this person engages with viewers on social media and hence there are days when the feedback really gets to the person).

Wonder when the ITA awards are going to be held - Hitesh deserves to be nominated.

I thought the buildup to the Pushpak-esque sequence was quite nice. Mamaji's dinner table banter was sweet - I always like it when he's given lines, he's a good actor and does justice to them. I have a bias towards ensemble cast shows - I like it when supporting actors are also given good scenes and lines and it's not all about the leads.

Hi Farzana, it's an idiomatic line. Metaphorically gale padna means when one person attaches themselves to another person against their will.

So Khushi is saying - "Whether you like it or not, I'm attached to you now (against your will)".

Now this is a pun because gale padna literally means "to hang on to someone's throat". And in this case, Khushi has managed to become Arnav's throat (his voice) and hence is hanging on to his throat.

Kooltoad - thanks! It's interesting to know that he likes writing for Khushi because he really does give her the best lines. Are you friends with Hitesh? If yes, please do let him know that I think he does an amazing job. Some of the touches that he's provided that I loved were -

1. Making buaji say Nakhlau instead of Lucknow
2. Mamiji's epic "Are you suar" to her own mother in law no less!
3. Khushi's line about har samadhan ke saath do samasyaein (or something like that)

"Darti hai par karti hai" is such a perfect description of Khushi!
