Gopi when she got married & entered into Modi house, she respected & valued all the relationships that have come along with her husband Ahemji, but the relationship she valued more was the relationship which she grew up, her Rashiben !!! She was very happy that she had the company of her sister for a lifetime & dreamt of settling down in her new home along with her Rashiben, loving & taking care of the family together.
Even when people around her reminded that she was a Jethani, she still lovingly called Rashi as Rashiben & gave her the respect of an elder sister. She never let Rashi feel that she needs to listen to her as she was her Jethani. At every instance & turn, she protected her sister, hid the mistakes she performed because she loved her without any conditions.
For the past few days she has been observing the changes in the house she thought was a house of love where her maaji & her kakiji the foundation of Modi parivar turning against each other. She saw the love they had vanishing from their relationship & she could see the family crumbling. She kept observing things happening, analysed the relationship & found evidences who was the one who was creating problems in her family.
Out of the love she had for her sister, she still hoped that what she was thinking was not true that it was not her Rashiben who was creating problems. She knew this was the right time to take action & correct it. She confronted Rashi with the the instances she was a witness. She listened to Rashi questioning her back but not answering her. She helped Rashi remember the past where the house especially her maaji & kakiji had so much of love & understanding between them & she showed Rashi what the future should also be...but as she listened to Rashi justifying what was happening, her doubt was confirmed that it was none other but her Rashiben. Till such time Gopi was a sister counselling & helping Rashi understand the importance of a family living together with love. But the moment Rashi rejected all of that & justified, for the 1st time, Gopi became a Jethani to her sister. She could not see the house which had given her that relationship break down because of one person.
She took immediate measures of correcting her devarani so that such things would never come up in future. She punished her devarani not by complaining to others, not by shouting but by stepping back in the relationship for her devarani to realise the importance of a relationship along with explaining to others why she (Gopi) was not talking to Rashi. As Rashi wanted Hetal & Koki to split, Gopi moved away from Rashi so that she could understand the vaccume of a relationship. This is a relationship in which both spend time with each other, everyday from the time they get up to till the time they sleep beyond the time spend with their husbands.
Rashi though wanting to ignore Gopi, cannot as because as Koki & Hetal's relationship has been for a longtime, so is Gopi & Rashi's as sisters, though Rashi may not love Gopi as much as Gopi loves, she cares for her, She looks back at Gopi for support & guidance when things do not go the way sas he expects., she shares her fears with her, she shares her happiness with her & she also uses her as her punching bag. With this will Rashi understand what it feels to be alone in a relationship without love !!!
