Hmmm so Arpita's mom was able to convince Papa Scindhia abt the Kanyadan being done by Dubeys. Papa Scindhia gave in saying whatever you wish... But he was surprised by Arpita's mom request.. Her tears and requests looked genuine so I am not sure why in the first place she wanted to take away the rights of Dubeys.. and may be she wanted to be present at later date as they will call her in all the occassions and not Dubeys as she has taken the place of Aarti's mom as Aarti now being Arpita. I still feel she is a nice lady but her behavior is contradictory...
Also I feel that these people took advantage of Aarti being orphan.. As either Dubeys or Arpita's parents none of those people would be her real parents so for Schindhia what difference does it make if they are Arpita's parents or Dubey not considering what Aarti feels...
The way she entered the Scindhia's room and directly blamed Aarti for protesting the Papa Schindhia's order... and than she suddenly turned and started requesting Schindhia to allow Dubeys to do the Kanyadan and she made Aarti and Shobha indebted to her.. I am not sure what is behind all these games...
My question here is he is ready to listen and give in to Arpita's parent who has gone from their lives but he does not allow Shobha to even utter a word. Why this kind of treatment to a parents who are giving their daughter for their widowed son with 2 daughters. Yes Aart is coming with the past and a child but it is equal on both the side. The autocratic father wanted to crush that spirit of protest but he could not do it. but i will have to appreciate his practicle mind.. Though he behaves like a dictator but he is a pakka politician and does step down when sees the solution is found without using his veto power.
But mata Gayatri is worst with one track of forgetful mind. Hope she forgets about these incidents and would not keep a grudge.
The flashback was articulately done. Guemeet was amazing in portraying so many emotions...
Emotion of contentment. Looking sweetly at Arpita cooking for her daughters.
Emotions of playfulness telling her that only moms get the motherhood previlage.
Emotion of dread listening Arpita saying if something happens to her.
Emotion of agony when pulling her tightly in his embrace and feel like never let go of her.
Emotion of great loss and helplessness finding that arpita indeed slipped away from him and he could not do a thing about it. And then tender fatherly love for his daughters which brings tears in his eyes and his heart just over flows with double love of mom and dad as he is trying to fill the absence of their mom.
And keeping a vigil for them as promised to their mom. Oh man Gurmeet was phenomenal. My hats offto his superb performance
Also loved the way he brought his vulnerability out in front of his younger brother. Love the bond betqween these two. The way Pratik always prompts to let him speak his dilemma. But love what pratik told him that he can never make any mistake where his daughters are concern. Finally he was at little ease. Gurmeet was awesome in this scene also portraying the dilemma of Yash If he is doing the right thing by his daughters or he is keeping the promise to their mom... simply superb portrayal..
But man I do not understand this Aarti's love for this worthless man.
The man who professed to love her and married her than left her for another woman when she was pregnant with his child.
Aarti cringes at the occasional accidental touch of Yash but pines for a man who violated her in the name of love. Made her pregnant and at the same time started an affiar with another woman and then left her while she was carrying his child and never came even once to see how his child was doing. She is pining for the man who deserted her little child and deprived him from the love of father. and she still thinks that he is a man for her... Is this girl that blind in her puppy love that she forgot what is good for her son??? A man who did not stand with his mom and dad... a man who did not stand by his wife... a man who did not stand by his infant son... A man who never cared for his growing son... That man she is running after... For what to bring him back in their lives so he can come and leave again????
Now What does he want??? Does he want to repeat the history by walking away from the 2nd one to come to the 1st one??? oh boy!!! If he is sorry for his wrong doing than he is 5 years late and if he is asking for forgiveness than he is 5 years late and if he is demanding to meet him just few hours before her wedding than it is totally unreasonable and selfish or may be he came to know that she is marrying in a rich family and he is trying to be a gold digger.. Well sorry Prashant your past does not allow any sympathy to you... Well let's see what kind of Prashant they are bringing now...
Another thing also Aarti is not realizing that he knows her weakness of still loving him and he is using that leverage to call her at the time of her wedding... He is actually doing emotional blackmail...
Here we have total contrast of two men. Prashhant a man who is unfaithful and did not honor his promises to his wife, He betrayed her with another woman and ran away from the resposibility of a father.
And than we have Yash who is steadfast in his love. Kept his promises and was faithful even to the memories of his wife and is a wonderful father. He does not leave his daughters to sleep with dadi or taiji but puts them to sleep on his own bed he kept his promise to his wife never to leave them alone...
So is this meeting with wayward husband going to bring Aarti from the feelings of that false love??? or she is going to be more entwined in the web of Prashant's lies???
It is yet to be seen.. But It is really getting interesting day by day...
Gurmeet and Shweta and Kritika were awesome with Pratik and Shobha and Chetanji and Gaytri..
Hope bringing in Prashant now will erase him from her life and she will be free to move on.
