Chapter 2

She frowned, "If he didn't wanted to speak then why did he call?" She turned and started to get back to what she was doing, but now her mind was not focused on the task anymore, but on the phone. She pleaded to ring talking to a human as if few minutes later...

"Hello? He roared in the phone, he heard the sudden hitch in the other side, he knew who it was now, and he tried one more time, "Hello?" with softer and gentler tone that he didn't knew he had till now.

No response he waited for seconds then the dial tone all he could hear. He cursed under his breath, "This girl she will not stay peaceful and won't let me either, its better I get out of here before she will drive me crazy."

With that Maan wrapped up his work, reached for his phone and took off from his office. It was late morning, everyone was busy in their daily work he looked around thinking if he can get one glimpse of the sight to quench his thirsty eyes, but all in vain annoyed and he stormed out of the office without letting anyone know where he is out.

He finally calmed himself and returned to the office, as he got several miss calls from Adi and Sasha. As he arrived he asked his peon to get him coffee, and stepped in to his office.

Few minutes later there was a knock on the door, Geet looked up the door to see who it was, and she smiled at the faces Adi and Pinky. She greeted them, "So good to see you, I was wondering if there will be any sight today. How are you both?"

Pinki chirped, "How we are going to be? Same, but I'm so delighted to see you return." She hugged her then tightly. Adi couldn't hold himself either, "ditto Geet, how are you doing and how's your health? "I'm doing fine Adi sir. How are you?" Geet smiled at him.

"Not that great Geet, ever since you left, Maan sir has turned to worse but now you are back hope things would change." With the hope they left Geet behind wondering what's the destiny written for them, how many separations they have to go through and if there is any slightest hope between them.

Shaking her head, she decided to visit the restroom before she continues to her pending work.

"Poor Chandan Kaka, he got yelled for no reason, I don't understand Maan sir what's gotten into him, Chandan Kaka always got him the same coffee that he had it for years and why all of a sudden he is so mad at him.

It's just a coffee." She heard some female staff talking while she was in the stall. She came out thinking he has to calm himself down before it gets worse, as Geet remembered how Adi shared some of his incidents in her absence.

She finished washing her hands off and rushed out of the restroom and headed towards the kitchen, servery she noticed Chandan Kaka upset. She reached up to him, "Geet Beta, so good to see you again. When did you come back? Why I didn't see you since all day? Chandan Kaka excitedly asked all the questions he could as fast as possible as if he will never get his next chance.

Geet smiled at him, she came to like this elderly man who worked for the Khurana constructions from his younger age. "I joined today Chandan Kaka and I'm working in the archives room. What is the matter kaka you look upset?" "What to say child, I have never seen Maan baba like this before, I gave him the same coffee that I have been giving him and he never once complained and today, he threw the cup across the room."

Geet flinched with the end; she recovered quickly and asks him not to worry. She asked him if Maan is still in the office and to clean up as she will prepare the coffee for him to take it again. He agreed and left, Geet noticed that it was late afternoon and wondered if he has eaten anything.

She noticed the lunch was still in the fridge that came from his home. She took it out and placed to heat and prepared for the coffee.

She was done with in few minutes and when Chandan Kaka returned she handed him the tray and asked him to take it to him and not to utter a single word even though he refuses to have it, just leave to the coffee table and leave.

She came back to her room and with pleased contentment continued her task wondering if she will ever able to finish her work today she might have to work till late.

Wonderful adaption from the original, I love the fact that both are so concerned yet don't want to admit it. Maan knows by now no matter how far he runs Geet's thoughts won't stop chasing him yet he still tries. Geet is so sweet and adorable thinking about even the Chandu kaka...😆 I'm glad you brought Pinky and Adi into the picture though. Their characters were totally underutilized in my opinion within the show.

I can't wait for the next one! :)

Honestly, its sooo easy to imagine Geet now, because of the video.
Now I could literally imagine her speaking.. her concern for others.. everybody missing her... Her talking to her self😆
I miss the 'nice, lovable" Maan! This one is really grumpy-like..trying to stay away from Geet!! But I guess doori se pyar barta hain 😉😆

Weekend.. well I wasted my weekend. All I did was catch up on some shows.. and did all mynecessaryassigns ..but nothing more! lol

I'm good. A bit tired since just got back home late last night from new york. Spring break is over now and should be doing work but instead watched tv shows I missed during the days I was gone. Haha
My priorities are so screwed up this semester but I'll get there...hopefully. Lol
I'm thinking about updating tomorrow. You think you'll be around?
