But with "Geet" everything changed and with actors Drashti and Gurmeet as "Maaneet" I actually think if I had that kind of an attitude towards daily soap.
It took good 15 years after getting tortured watching "Hasratein "and all other daily soaps when my mom was the boss and we as kids had no other option.
I did watch few tracks like that of Sujal and Kashish and Ansh Gujral's track, tracks with some Gray shade in it and not completely white or black and certainly not too dramatic. Yes I loved "Kareena Kareena" and the actress Kulraaj Randhawa in it but still I never followed any series religiously and with a feel "I have to watch it no matter what."
Well, I still have the same attitude for others becoz for me "Geet" is not a daily soap it is a "Love Saga" which comes daily.
"Gaurav you are probably the only male fan who writes so much for the series, in fact too much and the good thing is you are a die hard Drashti Dhami fan amongst so many MSK and Geet fans and when everyone use to ask about Gurmeet you always kept Drashti right up there through your writings."

Well Off course, I want "Geet" the only series which is different to be different and fly high and sustain for as long as possible.
I have seen many writing we love Maan and Geet which for me is illogical, becasue it is Drashti and Gurmeet in particular who make these characters look so desirable.
These two God's gift have given millions, who smash their heads, pull their hair,crib,shout and at the end of the day, just because they love Drashti and Gurmeet together, wait like crazies as if the whole world and their life depends on what will be shown at 9.30 pm,star one in the show Geet where two leads named Drashti and Gurmeet are playing the role of Maan and Geet and have reached heights, respect, love and passion in their fans hearts to an extent which wud be envied by any other person in the same profession, forget profession boss..
Maan and Geet are nothing less than those love birds,romeo and juliet,heer ranjha and many more which I have been hearing since days when I gained senses and did not even know what love is.
That is stupid from me, but such is the vision that the moment you take the either of the two out, the feel becomes alien and irrespective of how good the other person is as an actor you feel,hmmm no, Gurmeet hi hona chahiye...

No doubt I will be supporting her in her future ventures, particularly with Gurmeet as her co star, they rock together onscreen, no one can match their chemistry.
There is very little that I know about off screen life of Drashti Dhami, she is fond of KSG as a friend, likes pani puri and she wants a handsome guy, who is family oriented and the best part who will give her his credit card to shop whatever and whenever she wants, lets her stay with her parents for 5 days and 2 days with him on weekends off course.
I wish and pray you soon get your Dream Man; everyone is waiting for the "Breaking News".
Anyways,I can go on and on in praise for Drashti, but would mention that "Geet" is immortal and Drashti and Gurmeet will always be remembered for their roles as Geet and Maan respectively and Maaneet together have given me enough reasons to love them, follow them and trust them when it comes to entertainment and call myself a Drashti Dhami fan and Maaneet Maniac...
I would love to know more of off screen life of Drashti and Gurmeet, as a fan it is always a memorable experience listening to the real life experiences of your beloved reel life stars. I hope the makers listen to it, some show similar to "Jeena isika naam hai" presented by Star One and team Geet for Maaneet and others too if they want.
Would love to see them in college life based shows and particularly in Comedy Circus in near future, films will eventually be the final destination.
Unknowingly celebrities do a lot for their fans and this article is only my way of conveying thanks and gratitude.
Keep rocking Drashti along with Gurmeet and surely you are our sweetheart family members, whom we will be supporting and even, criticize but only constructive criticism. Lots of love, passion,motivation and support not just from me but also from my family members to you our only female superstar.
Off course I am a proud Drashti Dhami fan and it feels even good when I say
"From Drashti Dhami who? to "Dude you don't know Drashti Dhami !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Because for those who haven't seen this girl as Geet are one of the most unfortunate people and guys, she has everything what you look for in your fav female superstar, its just a matter of opportunity and that too a fair one to justify Drashti's acting potential.
