see most of the shows where kissing scenes took place were flop,so for the major part of the tv audience this is first kiss on telelvision ,since BAHL is popular show.

Kayamat on star plus has three kissing scenes. they made out the controversial that time too.

Yes it's true. Tara had one of the first - if not the first - liplocks on desi tv in the early 90s. And yes Kurukshetra went there too. There were some other serials with such bold scenes and themes, such as Hasratein, Banegi Apni Baat, etc.

You could not be more wrong. Those were some of the most successful and widely watched desi shows of the time.

Wasnt the first liplock between Parmeet Sethi and some actress in a Zee show 20 years ago?

secondly its not about the kiss,the scene itself was quite bold like he removing the hook of blouse ,pulling the saree ,plus kiss now i have seen many star one shows but all their SR scenes were not bold like this one,may be this is the effect of dirty picture on ekta kapoor.
