Hi hooked -- I want to clarify that there are some threads (including this one) that insinuate that badi masi already knew or knows about this Gauri angle, and it is a plot cooked up between dadisa and badi masi DELIBERATELY to separate J from G, and bring J to Jayetsar so that he can see the virtues of anandi and get back together with her again...
In this context, I absolutely refuse to believe that this is a pre-determined plan with any malafide calculation involved in it (atleast on the part of badi massi, ... with dadisa I cant be sure 😆 ...the old dokri will do anything to get her Jagadish back if she sees even a slim sliver of hope).
I honestly dont think that she would be trying to assist dadisa in getting a parpotha through these kinds of twisted means (of making J and A sleep together, or reorganizing a marriage).
But yes, though I dont question Badi masi's intentions ... I do have doubts concerning her intelligence. 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Her intelligence and her intentions are two very, very different things.
With intelligence I mean 'emotional intelligence' not her book reading or her worldly-wise exposure.
As far as preggy gauri is concerned -- in itself a pregnant woman showing up at the doorstep really means nothing by itself ... but given the hundreds of mis-steps that keep happening in the temple and the expressions on anandi's face and the strained expressions of sumitra and gehna ... I really think that by now, a person of emotional intelligence would have figured it out.

it can happen because its still not known that how Dadisa knew about All happenings of home all that fight between basant and anandi..

so may be DS and BM has planned...

But still it looks very strange to think like that as that reunite will neither make Anandi happy nor Jagya.. and DS knew this so she wont do that..

actually that has been revealed -- dadisa told everyone that mahavir singh called her in calcutta and told her about the fight between basant and anandi.

BM can ofcourse see there is a distance - why else wud she obsess abt it ? But since everyone is mum bat Gauri - she has no way of knowing the main cause. Now that a heavily preggo G is here, and she has JUST ARRIVED mind you - she has not even sat down for 10 minutes yesterday, before raising her voice - why shud BM already be able to put 2 and 2 and 4 and 4 and everything else together to come up with the obvious 100% answer that G is preg with J's child ??

This is being really far-fetched !

I really dont think that it is that far-fetched.
I mean why on earth would a heavily pregnant woman come to Jayetsar without her husband just to inform a male colleague that the dean would debar him from the M.S. program?
Why on earth would the dean convey that to Gauri when he can just call Jagat directly and tell him?
Who on earth is Gauri? What locus standii does she have in the matter?
If my boss wants to convey something to a colleague of mine, I dont understand why he/she would tell me regardless of how great friends I was with that person.
And the timing of gauri's entry is after
1. the priest has been reluctant to give them an aashirwaad
2. the priest has been reluctant to find a date in his little astrological notebook for the puja
3. the kaki has asked about the "galti" and expressed great satisfaction that anandi and jagya are now together and that the galti has been corrected... and the galti was such a big one that it warrants distributing sweets to the whole village regarding the correction!!!!!
# 3 was such a doozy -- I think that was a huge tip-off --
and furthermore, when gauri comes there -- yes, she has been there for 10 minutes only -- but her tone, her attitude her words, her eyes -- they all convey a decided rudeness and defiance that need not be shown to a colleague's parents.

Also, hooked, with due respect to Jayetsar --
this is village society -- which man has female friends when they are married?
I mean even in the U.S. and Europe which is fairly liberal -- wives wouldnt like female friends hanging around their husbands - at nights or on weekends at homes.
Female colleagues -- yes. And having lunch with them on professional occassions or for professional reasons is okay.
But female friends? Who come and hang out for days together in their homes?

idk i personally think she knows. It just seems too deliberate. And she seems to ignore a lot of signs like Bharov saying to J to stay away from A etc. Loads of things. Plus DS seems to be part of it because she is allowing all this to go as far as it has and continues to do so... like hey get rid of G so you can celebrate your anniversary with A...it's all too suspicious.

If BM knew about Jag and Gawri, it is not smart of her to try to reunite J and A. Being a mature woman she should know the psychological bad effect it will have on Anandi. In the name of elders both these old ladies are playing havoc in Anandi's life. One knowingly and another one unknowingly.Dadisa is worried about her sis even though she is old and has led her life. She is so ruthless and insensitive towards Anandi because she is not her flesh and blood. It is very painful to witness the atrocities of older people in the name of tradition and respect for elders. Anandi is mature enough to understand that Jagya is also the victim of child marriage just like her. Though she is strong mentally she should not be tested to her limits by all this drama staged by BM.

Anandi is not being tormented here. She always has had the choice of going back to her parents for ever or for a few days if she chooses. But she finds it bearable obviously - Right ?

Anandi has so far not taken advantage of J even once.
- She never asked him to hand her a towel yet !
- She didn't come in when he was changing or sleeping on a pretext to get some stuff.
- She hasn't allowed him to pick a dress for her - thereby giving him false hopes that she still cares..
- She hasn't insisted on sleeping together or conjugal rights or making a baby to please BM...

So how is she being tested and tormented ?
