Not too sure if I am amongst the majority or minority, but I really liked epi. It was refreshing after Wednesday's epi which was very much disjointed. This is the Khushi that I saw from the beginning of the show and loved……the one, who is bubbly, optimistic, smart and unique. Yesterday I was mad because the cv's messed up big time and it looked like in her attempt to annoy ASR, she was losing her kindness. I am glad the cv's did some damage control.
The cv's handled the office scenes well, it didn't look forced and managed to keep the consistency of Khushi's character. I was worried that they might mess it up, but they didn't. She went there as Mrs. Raizada, maintained her dignity as well as her husband's, was warm and friendly with the staff and at the same time did what she wanted to do.
I liked the employees reaction as well (in some parts they were OTT...I get it, they were hungry but at they were giving expression of starved people who hadn't eaten in a long time). They were apprehensive to eat without their boss's permission, who already ordered pizzas for them and later hesitant about what to say or how to thank Mrs. Raizada. Kishorilalji and Chamanlalji have become fans of Mrs. Raizada.
I am not surprised that she didn't expect Arnav to eat; she doesn't realize their Dhadkan has become ek. Arnie looked so adorable while eating, loved the smile and relief on Khushi's face when she watched him eat. I wonder, did Arnie eat because he was hungry or is he secretly a fan of wifey's culinary skills and could not resist? Khushi has been cooking at RM from the time she trained La.
Loved the last scene as well...when she was talking about business deals over the phone and taking pride in saying she is the daughter of a halwai and the wife a businessman. She totally knows the rules of business. Not everyone can do it. These two are so much alike. Arnie was simply admiring her and her antics while she chatted, totally oblivious to the fact that he was there. He was completely lost in her when she said she's the wife of a businessman... He loves it when she calls herself his patni.
No matter what she does, she never fails to acknowledge her babuji. I admire Khushi for the fact that she never is ashamed of background and takes pride in saying who she is. This is what Arnav admires too. All his aukaad lectures are just nonsense. If he really believed them he would have never fell in love with her.
Looks like Khushi is serious about working…..if she is than it's great. If she really wants to start catering business, it's great but since she is delivering the food to her AR, I hope the cv's handle it sensibly.
Another thing I liked was Payal standing up for mami. Mami although hesitant, looked pleasantly surprised (but she controlled her expressions) and this competition is to bring mami and Payal closer. But what I hated was the 'Raizada guests'. I don't understand why nani socializes with such people and puts up with their obnoxious behaviour.
