IK did rom coms to get hits and improve his acting. it's better not to be too versatile when you are not ranbir kapoor who wanted to be an actor all his life! just do what you can and get good at it. then experiment. which is what he is doing. it also takes failure to know what you can and what you cannot do!

Also rem Delhi Belly was completed right after JTYJN...Kidnap & Luck both were completed before JTYJN. If you look at them chronologically...he only improved with time! Kidnap, Luck, JTJYN, DB, IHLS, BKB, MBKD, EMAET!

it doesn't matter if he isn't the first choice...he can be the 5th...in the end what matters is if he is in the movie or not and the outcome of the movie and his performance. his next few films are interesting. look forward!

Imran is one smart guy...I don't see him fading away ... he has improved from his Jaane Tu days (remember the way he used to laugh in that movie 😆? so forced! 😛) He knows he'll fail magnificently if he attempts a Rockstar or Rajneeti now so he seems to be taking the SRK route (though SRK was always a pretty good actor) - build a fan base with rom coms ... establish some credence and then diversify ... I know alot of people who like IK movies because they are rom com fans in general ...

Anyway ... in LA he studied film making right? so film direction is always an option for him 😊

oh hrithik has too many pluses going for him even if he didnt come from rakesh roshan house

IK is always written off yet BO wise he has made more money than RK 🤔

Just goes to show how people are so far out from the reality. Post Luck this WAS a reality ( the whole 7 days in paris fiasco) but not now, for sure.


Imran Khan has no outright flop(break ke baad included) among all the films he had selected so far post Jaane Tu. Both Kidnap and Luck were signed way before the release of Jaane tu, in fact Kidnap released only because Jaane tu was a success. And not only that they were all SOLO films. Again NONE of those films are with BIG directors, all are/were with newcomers. So Imran obviously gets credit for those successes trade wise and that's the reason he would get films inspite of what one thinks in online forums like these.

Its the same reason why big directors/production houses doesn't have the same opinion and reputation on Abhishek that's seen online and he continues to get films. Cause no matter who did Raavan, D6, JBJ, KHJJS,SR etc they wouldn't have done any better than what they have done now commercially. Case in point Guzarish, entire non-romantic filmography of SRK except CDI, entire filmography of Ranbir except Katrina starrers. Abhishek's real failures are Game and Players because they were commercial films and they didn't do well. Now he has a series of commercial films lined up and no Raavan's/D6's etc so if these fail then he might be doomed as people perceive here.

Similarly Imran has created a niche for him at least in the big metros of India on par with Ranbir Kapoor. So even if no one seems interested in him or his films online and put him on par with Ranvir/Prateik/Emraan etc people do end up showing in theaters when they think he has a decent-good film. Case in point EMAET despite its poor openings it had reached 40Cr because that segment showed up. All this without any big director and decent word of mouth. For others the film has to have great word of mouth for them to show up. Again sign of a star.

As for as Jaane tu and DB being mamu hits well if that's the case then where would Hrithik be if not for his papa. Oh wait, people here think Hrithik has no star power. 😆


Regarding Imraan being bad actor blah blah yes he is and for someone who actually didn't even know how to speak Hindi properly before he took up his first film he is doing mighty good. He is improving with each film and was really good in EMAET or may be its the genre.

Imran and Emraan incidentally are like two sides of a coin. Imran scores in the metros and Emraan scores in the single screens. When these two gets equal reputation on either sides i think these two along with Ranbir, who is a complete package, would be like the Khans of today in the future of Hindi films.

he shld b happy tht he atleast has a career while it lasts. if not for his mamu jaan, he wud've been tossed aside with his 2nd film.

I cant say Imran is a bad actor... Bad is a small word. He is Pathetic.😔 He is still surviving in bollywood bcoz he is somewhat goodlooking & plus he has Mamu Amir.

Delly Belly- The other 2 actors were far better than him. And even if Imran wasnt in the movie & some other actor was in his place, still the movie would have done the same business.
