I have watched just a few Pak serials...not only they produce quality worthy product but also it portrays characters as ordinary people. They cater to the problems of common-man not unlike our Indian serials where all the actors/actress are decked up as if they are going to a marriage party. Even the ordinary in Indian television is portrayed on a grand-scale (lol...talking only in terms of crores n millions) which kills the motive of the drama.

Thanks. Great to know that they still don't run the shows for many years. Thats what the beauty i had found in the Pakistan's dramas/serials... that the story is always kept to the point, there is not a single unnecessary scene. They will keep the drams to what they wanted to show in the story and then just finish the drams/serial. Even when something is tremendously popular there is never any attempt to start stretching the story to 100s of episodes. And thats why missing even one episode feels like too much loss. And it keeps people hooked to them. Imagine, inspite of 'Humsafar' being so tremendously popular (going by the praises i have read on this forum about it) they finished it just in 23 episodes.

Ya and more importantly here in pakistani serials stories are not change due to trps they goes with original story and almost every drama has beautiful dialogues and message. Right now in pakistan soaps trend is introduced like in geo tv "kash mai teri beti na hoti" conveying strong message of a ordinary lower class girl but no compromise with the story. Glade that you are also fan of pakistani dramas.

Good to know that indian people also like pakistani serials as well and i totally agree with ur pov. Sorry if any one feel bad but thats the reason i don't like to watch indian serials most they butcher story only for stretching i was always starone shows fan were their were no saas bahu drama lol it was quite unique channel but i guess indian population don't like simple and natural stories they like saas bahu drama elements. But geet was some thing unique and especial for me respectively for GC/DD aka Maaneet couple and for few more things.

Yeah, whichever Pakistani serials i had seen had some social message and the beauty is in conveying it so simply and beautifully. None of the dramatic scenes. I remember one very short serial i had watched about one very simple fisherman finding one day one diamnod and bcoz of this diamond his life turns totally upside down, earlier he used to be a very happy man with a very happy family in a very happy village but after finding diamond the life is totally upside down. In the end he throws the diamond back in the sea bcoz he realizes how the diamond and along with it the greed can totally ruin ones life. It was a very short, may be 3-4 episodes drama and so beautifully done.
BTW, yesterday night i started watching 'Humsafar' on dramasonline.com and just loving it. I have watched 8 episodes till now.
Again the the story is so simpley conveyed. I feel so happy watching it. I have found that all serials are done with a positive frame of mind, even anger, negativity or family conspiracies are not dramatized and exaggerated like our Indian shows.

thats what a lot of Indian people lament when will Indian production houses/channels will learn that they should stick to the original story with which they plan to start the serial. Its actually a very strange concept to keep changing the story as per one or the other circumstances and conveniences and bowing to TRPs.
GEET, of course, was so very unique inspite of all the dramatization and ruining of the storyline so many times. This one will always have a very very special place in our heart.

I totally agree with you. Everything is kept to the normal day to day life whether its the sets, dressing, circumstances and situations, everything is close to reality. And thats why they are so beautiful.
When Indian dramas start it feels like they will have the social message but after few months that gets lost completely. Lets wish for Indian dramas also to improve.
I just started watchg 'Humsafar' on internet. I am loving it. i just watched 8 episodes yesterday. Its done so beautifully.

Thanks a ton for the recommendations.
Once i finish watching 'Humsafar' (I have watched only till 17 episodes yet) then i will try these 2 other dramas too.
I am watching on www. dramasonline.com.
I feel that some scenes are cut on the videos on the internet on this website bcoz some scenes come up which feel like future scenes but then those scenes never appear as the video progresses.
Is there any alternate good website where one can watch these serials?
