After the Holi episode and the 'mini-confession', how will the CV's handle Khushi's character growth going forward. Until now, Khushi is a young innocent girl who is nave, trusting and a romantic dreamer. She is also mischievous, very impulsive and friendly with all. She values relationships, loves her family and will do anything for them. She also believes in Devi Maiya and expects her to guide her thru life. Post confession, assuming that CV's leave Khushi any memory of the event, will Khushi now mature and morph from a girl into a young woman with awareness of what is happening and recognition of feelings of attraction, love, and passion?
While she has experienced Dhak Dhak and acidity due to Arnav's proximity, Khushi until now has been singularly unaware of herself and her effect on men. Case in point, her interactions with NK, Arnav and Shyam. Khushi has no idea that NK saw her as anything more than a friend. When Arnav saw NK ogling Khushi's back and undid her hair to cover her back, he told her that 'you don't know what you are doing half the time and you have no idea what is happening around you'. This is the root of her problems past, present and future with Shyam. Khushi is very nave and has no awareness of the degree to which Shyam is obsessed with her and the danger he poses. Hence, in her bhang induced state, she blurted out the truth behind her marriage to Shyam. If she thought he was truly the snake we know him to be, she would not have told him. She still has not deduced that Arnav may have knowledge of terrace scene.
The multitude of Rabba ve's give the viewers a sense of the romance, sweetness and throes of first love in Khushi. How will CV's handle this aspect of her growth. I am looking forward to seeing her feelings evolve to the level where she is on an equal playing field with Arnav in terms of emotional depth and intensity of feelings. We saw glimpses of this in the wedding outfit showroom when she cried. I hope CV's give Sanaya the opportunity to emote the transformation. Would love to get other perspectives.
