but in the hetal-koki break down i think it takes two to tango...and reminds me of an old indian adage...which translated means something like the person who bends further when knocked on the head is as much an idiot as the person who keeps knocking a person who keeps beniding...

there is a threshold and when that is reached then reason flies out the door and many years of attachment as well...and cunning bystanders make use of the situation to suit themselve...but they too are playing fire...

making hetal vicious though is taking away from her charactor profile...esp toward Gopi is really uncalled for...

TAngam.. wise words.. But in this instance, the bystander is none other than an evil DIL whose real face is already known. Moreover there was nothing Koki did that was disrespectful to Hetal.
I am taking @Bold a little differently.. Hetal is an idiot alright to bend to Rashi's words just because she talks sweetly.. If that is all it takes to break a 30 year relationship then it is wise to say there was no relationship in the first place😕
And Tangam,.. The last line is so true..being vicious towards Gopi is going overboard.. Gopi has never done anything to deserve this.. And that makes me more mad😡

Let me tell you Harini...I live in a joint family & when Im not eating at home it is required of me to call up home let it be my mom or my aunt to inform Im not eating at home...this way they plan the meal & no. of people who would be eating...& days when I do not do it...it is not my aunt but my mom who reminds me that the food they cooked was either wasted because they had me in or they had to put in extra efforts assuming I would come home else they would have managed it by all they had...so I see Koki's point & your point !!!

And there are days that the food cooked for me is given the next day back to me so that it does not go waste...Yeah Hetal can only think about Jigar & Rashi...so let it so be...let her get what she deserves & then see what she has done in her blindness !!!! Jigar actually atleast voiced out saying it would have been nice if everyone from the family was there but Hetal just did not care !!!

Navya.. Well said.. It is considered a shame to waste food in most parts of India.. Food equates to God. Wasting it is usually frowned upon..
Another point is that Hetal herself knew that there was a feast being made at home. And she being the elder should have taken care to inform Rashi and Jigar of the situation.. But no.. She decides to go along with her DIL. Lets for one minute accept that it was impromtu.. Then it also requires an apology to the people who put in their sweat to make everything at home..
And how beautifully you have put.. She is hurting exactly those people who love her so much.. Hetal is lucky that she has such people in her life and she in her blindness is letting it all go so easily😕
