"So how is it guys?" Panchi turned to face her family with a big smile. She had chosen the resort after going through many offers. Her main priority was some quality time outside for Dhruv. Most of his time was spent inside the house since they couldn't give a credible explanation for his growth spurt. He appeared close to 3 years now and this would surely raise some questions if people saw him regularly.
"Wow! Birdie'.so you actually know how to select a quality place without considering shopping chances" Misha complimented Panchi earning a whack on the head in return. The family laughed together.
"Where is Abhay and Piya?" Arnab asked the rest as they moved inside with the bags.
"Nanu they are coming together so they will obviously take more time'right Z" Dhruv winked at Z.
The girls giggled while Arnab smirked at his grandson's ahead-of-his age understanding.
"Let's get to our room guys'and then to the restaurant I am starving" Z complained holding her stomach.
"I second that" Misha said
"Well well this place will surely satisfy your appetites'.it's renowned for it's food" Panchi said much to the delight of Z and Misha.
In Abhay's car''
"Piya" Abhay called sweetly which was answered by a glowering gaze.
"Oh come on Piya that was just a comment'..that doesn't mean you" Abhay tried pacifying his ready-to-burst lover who interjected him.
"Why Mr. Raichand! Don't I fall under the category of girls" Piya seethed with anger " All girls are emotional fools'.really" she muttered with a huff.
Abhay stopped the car suddenly.
"What now? We have been on the road for more than an hour now'.my family would be waiting for me" Piya said seriously.
"If you are in a hurry'.you can go along" Abhay replied coolly with a shrug, a smirk playing on his lips.
"Huh'wha (Piya saw the playfulness in Abhay's eyes and this further angered her)'.fine then'..I will find the way by myself" she got down from the car and had walked just a few steps forward when she found herself falling back on the bonnet of the car with Abhay on top of her. He had his most knee-buckling smile on and Piya wasn't sure for how long she could remain p****d off with him. The argument wasn't really big anyway- regular boy girl fight but this was one of those days when even the smallest things could rub her the wrong way and Abhay was now getting the brunt of it.
Abhay ran a seductive hand on her bare arms and Piya cursed herself for wearing an off-shoulder.
"Well I would say it was good selection Miss. Jaiswal'..how else would I be able to seduce-pacify my darling" Abhay whispered in her ear before nibbling it. He started a trail of kisses from her left ear up to her right leaving Piya short of breath. Her hands were on Abhay's shirt bunching them up in her hold.
Piya! Get a hold on yourself'you can't let him win like that her mind scolded her.
What's the harm in letting him win her hormones replied.
Seriously! He will always apply this technique to get you then don't regret it.
Abhay sniggered inwardly at the battle in Piya's head.
You know you can't resist me he answered with a smirk.
This got Piya. She pushed him off her only to bring him under her.
"Did you think only one can play this game" she asked in a seductive voice.
"Oh really! I don't think you are up for this game Piya" Abhay replied knowing full well this will get her into action.
In reply Piya just smiled and started placing kisses from his exposed chest upwards which ended in a passionate lip -lock on the car's bonnet. Abhay's hand rhythmically moved up and down her lean back while Piya's played with his hair. They broke apart a long while later and smiled at each other.
"This position was really beginning to irk me" Abhay stood up straightening Piya as well. He placed a kiss on her forehead.
"From now onwards warn me before you have such mood swing days so I can plan before hand how to tackle you" Abhay said in a mock-serious tone. Piya replied with a giggle and a punch on his chest. They shared a laugh before getting back on the road.

"It's nearing night'.where are those two?" Panchi asked in a concerned voice dialling Abhay's number.
"Chill Birdie'.and if they aren't attending calls most probably their phones are on silent mode'..they are smart you know'.they don't want anyone interfering with their romance" Misha explained saintly while munching on some chips. Z sniggered and Panchi shook her head, sipping a glass of orange juice.
"Hey there Birdie" a too familiar voice made Panchi nearly spit out her drink.
"I don't believe this'..You" Panchi glowered at a smirking Siddarth.
"Oh c'mon'.this resort is mine'.so obviously I have all rights to be here" he replied gloatingly.
"What?" Panchi and Misha said simultaneously while Z looked at Sid with raised eyebrows.
"Oh well! I bought it a week back'..but haven't let the news out'.and since the staff working here are the same I didn't find it necessary to shut down the resort and start again'.also I don't see the need to make much changes here either" Siddarth explained for their benefit.
"Guys I am going to my room'..I will see if we can change the spot" Panchi said to other two before storming off. She knew that it would be near impossible to get a new resort now but anything to stay away from Sid!
"Missing Dhruv are we?" Siddarth taunted making Panchi halt in her steps. Sid was doing this purposefully to see what was so special about this guy. Abhay's reaction wasn't normal when he took that name and it hadn't escaped his notice. He would never admit it but somewhere he was jealous. Jealous because he had started feeling for Panchi but also knew that she couldn't be his anymore.
"You could've invited him as well you know Birdie" Sid said with a shrug.
"He doesn't need an invitation Siddarth'.he is always welcome in my life'..because unlike you he loves me to the core" Panchi replied purposefully. She had decided that she didn't care anymore whether Siddarth knew or not. Dhruv would always be hers. They shared a long gaze filled with various emotions before it was interrupted by
"Mumma" Dhruv called his mother while gazing steadily at his father. Madhu carried him towards Panchi throwing Siddarth an angry gaze.
Siddarth looked at the child incredulously. As far as he knew Panchi was never married. This meant the child could only be adopted. But his supernatural senses couldn't lie. The child wasn't human. At least not fully. There was a different sense about it almost as if it were
"Half a vampire" Dhruv replied his father.
"How did you" Sid blurted.
"I told you already ''I am half - vampire'..or lets say half you Daddy" Dhruv replied with a smirk very much similar to his fathers. Siddarth just gaped at the small boy. His mind zoomed back to first time he had seen Dhruv and that strange pull he had felt then. But such connection he would not have imagined even in his weirdest dreams
"What the hell are you doing here" Abhay's angry voice interrupted the father and son's first official talk.
Piya went and stood beside Panchi assuring her with a gaze that they were here for her.
"Turns out ,He owns this place Abhay'just our luck" Z replied
"Well then we should be out of here'..I don't want even his shadow falling on Dhruv" Abhay replied.
Siddarth meanwhile was shocked out of words. His eyes were still glued to Dhruv and they were flying through emotions. He had a son! That to a living breathing replica of himself. Which means that his reckless love making with Panchi had given birth to this miracle. But how could vampires reproduce? Weren't they dead?
"Apparently they can Mr. Raichand'..the live proof is in front of you'..Creator always surprises us" Piya replied
Sid shifted his gaze to her wanting to be reassured. Piya nodded to show she was speaking the truth.
Abhay impatiently took Dhruv from Panchi.
"Pack up guys'.we are leaving" he ordered walking away.
Abhay please calm down'.we can't just pack up'..the employees are here as well'..how will we answer them Piya told Abhay mentally.
He gazed at her angrily but stopped walking.
"At least lets get away from his presence" Abhay said scathingly looking at Sid.
Sid all the while wasn't bothered about anyone. His gaze shifted between Panchi and his son. To Panchi he wanted to ask many questions but didn't know which to ask first to his son he didn't no what to say. Both Panchi and Dhruv gazed back at him, Panchi looking for some sign of love on his face.
Misha guided Panchi away followed by Z, Piya and Madhu.
In Panchi's room'.
Abhay was storming back and forth giving scorching gaze to the wall.
"Dude all of us already have a headache'.stop adding to it'.calm down" Z said.
"Yeah Abhay'.just relax we will deal with this'.plus so much anger is not needed really" Piya said.
"So much anger! Oh please Piya'he deserves more" Abhay almost spat out. He closed his eyes to calm himself. Dhruv and Panchi needed his support right now, he couldn't afford to fall prey to his emotions.
He sighed
"Listen Panch'..we are going to do what we came to do'.now that he knows I think we can freely enjoy'..we shouldn't let him feel that he has got to us" Abhay kneeled in front of a lost looking Panchi with Dhruv on her lap.
Panchi met his gaze with a tear filled one. She was mentally begging Dhruv's forgiveness that his father couldn't love him. Dhruv in return was consoling her that it was never her fault and all the love he needed he already had.
Dhruv gave Abhay a stricken sad look. He couldn't take his mothers grief. Abhay cupped his cheeks assuring him that he will take care of everything. He turned to Panchi speaking softly
"Panchi'..I have always told you, you are one hell of a strong woman'..you have endured so much in life that some others can only imagine'..you have worked so hard to get over him be above him'..do you want all that to be ruined? Do you want him to triumph'.no right?'..then be that strong woman who fought for Dhruv'.show him that you can still live life to the fullest"
Abhay held Panchi's gaze for a long moment. Panchi wiped her tears and gave them all a smile.
"Mumma you really do have the most beautiful smile" Dhruv said placing a kiss on her cheeks. The mother and son looked at each other with all the love they held in the heart

Jeh kept staring into the fire slowly rotating the glass of wine in his hand. He needed answers and they were evading him.
Answers as to why Deepanitha had all of a sudden returned back to Dehradhoon.
Answers as to what the magician so desperately looking for.
Also there was this sense of foreboding as if something was going to go awry very soon and he hated this feeling. Because with it came the nagging fear that he might loose someone close and this he certainly could not stand. 50 years ago he had experienced the same feeling and him and Alina had lost a brother. Though not related by blood their - Jeh's and Neils bond was strong rooted and Neil's death had nearly completely shattered Alina. But not as much as the fact that it was Deepannitha evil selfish schemes which had lead to his death. Alina was broken and this had a lasting effect on her mental state for quiet sometime. Her brother was torn apart in front of her eyes and her mother was responsible.

Howls and roars tore the night air and onlookers would have perceived that blood was raining in huge buckets from the sky into the Dehradhoon forest.
The scene was gruesome beyond words - vampires and werewolf were at battle - fangs bared, claws tearing. Precisely speaking they were tearing each other apart. Nothing was as to which side would win but one thing was sure both side would loose a lot of their members.
Jeh and Abhay were engaged in a ferocious head lock both trying to do maximum damage to the other. Abhay hissed at Jeh and earned a growl in reply. They were circling each other now.
His mother, sister and brother were fighting their own battle. Neil was handling two at a time being one of the best among them. Alina was having trouble with her vampire being a young wolf and her brothers wanted to reach to her aid as soon as possible. Deepanitha was busy shredding a vampire like cheddar cheese.
Suddenly a loud bellowing howl had the wolves halt in mid-fight. Six humongous wolves - larger than any on the battlefield bounded right into the centre of the fight. They eyed the fighting wolves one by one and they began to back off. Jeh with some reluctance let go off Abhay still glaring at him. The elders wanted the wolves to stop the fight there and then and no one could deny their orders. They had turned to human form as soon as the wolves had backed out and were conversing with the head of the vampire clan. Jeh saw Neil, Deepanitha back off as well. Neil was helping a wounded Alina move back.
Out of the blue two vampires fell upon Neil. He barely got time to push Alina to safety. The next instant Neil was torn to pieces in front of his family's eyes who howled in shock and agony.

Jeh closed his eyes as his brothers last moments played in his mind once again. This was the only instance that brought tears in the eyes of the brave alpha Jeh Khuranna. It had been even more agonizing back then when later the elders had told them that the fight which was engineered by Deepannitha - was fought to meet her selfish ends. She wanted Dehradhoon all to the wolves when her clan had decided to shift to the place. She had convinced her clan to follow her in her mad cap scheme. Jeh had trusted his mother blindly back then only to find out that even that trust was engineered with black magic. Deepanitha was controlling her clan with black magic with the help of a wizard. Jeh had never felt more broken and so had Alina.They left Dehradhoon after that for a while and had returned to their home only after making peace with their past. They had held onto each other since then -being each other's strength and weakness.
And now years later she is back again, I wonder what she has in store for us now he thought ,opening his eyes
