Lalit Mohan No Longer Directing IPK

I am not directing IPK anymore. My current show is Humse Hai Life on channel V and upcoming show Suvreen Guggle Topper of the year on the same channel. cut it.

Now, what happened?????

I honestly think LM got sick and tired of his FB page getting bombarded with long notes, posts, pleas, demands, curses, kisses and crazy maniacal comments that he RAN for the love of his life in the opposite direction.

Whats the mystery?

I am officially mourning this Sunday morning. I am in black and sitting by my laptop ignoring my family and crying rivers of tears. I am mourning the death of Lalit Mohan's Facebook page because soon, that page is going to be nothing more than a a barren wasteland, silent, empty carcass. More importantly, where the hell do I vent, scream my heart out and swear the hell out of my mind?

RIP LM's FB page. and good luck to you Mr. Mohan on your new venture. This time you really "CUT IT" and meant it too!!!

😆 Will be missing LM's FB page. The poor soul really suffered a lot. Especially when the hate-marriage track started he was bombarded with 'you know what'. 🤣

I guess he had taken too many projects at once and Arshad Khan has been directing this show alongside him for quite some time now so we are in good hands.

All Holi scenes were not done by him and we didnt notice so LOL😛

actually i quite liked LM because he atleast opened up to interacting with fans. ipk has no other avenue for fan interaction. its a young production house and its completely pathetic and unbelievable that they dont want to engage with their fans in a social media avenue and create focus groups and learn more about audience trend. just goes to show how much this team takes its viewers for granted. sad.

I know from sbs that Arshad directed the ME where Arnav finds out about Khushi's engagement.

And the more recent Holi episode, from the offscreen pics from FB that were posted, you can see Arshad discussing the show.

Sooo, let us all give credit where it is due.

LM didn't direct this week and we were in ArHi dreamland. He didn't direct the ME where ASR finds out that Khushi is engaged and I don't think he directed ASR's breakdown. He has always been 2nd unit director. But he was the director who gave us that awful rabba ve, the first of the year and he was the only one who heard from the fans that technically speaking, the editing didn't cut it...so maybe he cut out.

The show is in capable hands. I am not too worried.

I am mourning the fact that now THERE IS NO SOCIAL MEDIA avenue to discuss the show with anyone connected directly to the show.

The production house is pretty dense when it comes to capitalizing barun sobti's fame and reach, sanaya's appeal and tapping it all via a social media vehicle. come on!! I always felt LM's fb page, although a bit unresponsive, got many views from him and changes were made to include some of the suggestions.

now, the ph has NOTHING in place to interact with legions of fans world over. This is a young PH, why dont they understand the power of tapping viewer interaction.

I am mouring that. Lalit or no lalit, as long as the story goes well, it does not matter.
