ok i notice this a lot. people always call women who have a promiscuous lifestyle a slut or a whore which has such a negative connotation while men who r promiscuous are players or studs which is very positive sounding. first of all that damned double standard. second of all who r we to call somone a whore or a slut. i am so against this language because it is so demeaning to women and especially women saying things like this because women shudnt judge other women so harshly. how do u feel about these terms, i honestly feel they shud be eliminated and not used by anyone.

Wow..I never thought of it that way (how those are bad words for women but good words for men).

I agree with you but then its language...can't change that. 😊

Zara i was thinking the same damn thing when i read i few posts just now !!!(great minds think alike :0) Its US "women" that have such disgracefull names for other women. Its a damn shame in my opinion !!

Half the women who go around calling other women sluts are nothing but "hypocrites"!!! We had them in my school 15 years ago and i suppose we still have them in this day and age. 😔

yes we can. if women were to start thinking just a little different and stop using words like these to insult other women then men wud stop as well. I think people need to say "i will not use words like these about someone else" and if less people say it, then it wont be socially acceptable and people will have to stop.

read this somewhere , found it funny
you call a girl a slut is a girl who sleeps with you & everyone else too ,you call a girl a whore is a girl who sleeps with everyone but too. 😆

Anyway the point -

And i agree with mkzara , if a man sleeps around with multiple women he is called as a stud (although for me he is still a person with low morals) & if a woman does it she's automatically called a whore. Sadly differnt rules for both genders, whats good for the goose is good for the gander is what i firmly belive in.

I think it's perfectly fine. I mean women should get used to being lower then men-and double standards are the perfect expedient for this.
