If you are wondering why Zee has risen to the psychological 200-GRP mark, the answer is Punar Vivah. Strategically and intelligently slotted at 10.30 pm to give competition to Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, two-week data indicates that the show on remarriage has caught on with viewers. It is averaging 3-plus TVR; a decent start. TV analysts feel that along with steady performers Pavitra Rishta, Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli and Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein, Punar Vivah will help Zee fight Sony and Colors for the number 2 channel slot. Another show that's also doing its bit is Afsar Bitiya at 7 pm which is steady at 1.5 TVR. But the clear winner of the pack seems to be Punar Vivah.

Wowww this is good news ...its true that both shows hv been doing really well for Zee TV and I m really happy to see that shows with good concept are getting acceptance widely 👏👏👏😳

But is PV getting 3 TVR ..as far as I remember ,its just one day it got 3.2 in its first week ..it will b interesting to see the trps of this week and whether it has crossed the 3 mark or not ...fingers crossed 😳

That is so wonderful to here, and it's actually very accurate! The very first week that PV was aired, it brought Zee TV to the #3 position and gave it a huge jump in the GRPs. And considering that competition is getting tighter and tighter in the 10:30 p.m. time slot it truly is wonderful to see PV maintaining it's position just 3 weeks in! I have yet to see a show start to a 2.5+ TRPs and actually retain most of it!

A wonderful set of talented actors, a unique concept, a renowned PH, and wonderful promotion by Zee TV is definitely paying off! Hoping to see the numbers increase this week as well :)
