Raghav is a vey good performer. I agree. There is absolutely no doubt about it. However, I think its not fair that most of the time whenver he does a duet/ trio with someone, the other dancer(s) have to incorporate Raghav's style in the performance. Yes, Raghav totally ate Sanam in that promo, and that too kaccha. But come on, that was totally expected and we didnt need to see the promo to know that. I would rather want to see Sanam and Raghav perform a duet on another style of dancing that is neither Raghav's forte (slo-mo/ robotic) nor Sanam's forte (ballet/ contemporary/ or whatever it is).
From all the adla badla jodis Raghav an Sanam for me is the wierdest one. Lets see how it turns out.
I really hope its Abhik an Sneha G together, These two are in my Top 3 favs (the other one being Pradeep) and I really really want to see these two talented dancers performing together.

I understand what you're saying and I agree to a large extent...but I meant the body language of a PERFORMER, period...Raghav has attempted different styles in the past but his body language itself is so strong that it shines through each time no matter what brief bit he'll do in another style also.

In this act, the entire thing obviously won't be slow motion...it seems there's bollywood mixed in as well...and I'm pretty sure Raghav will eat Sanam alive in those bits as well...Sanam honestly isn't impressive even in his own forte of ballet...he's a stiff dancer with awkward body language...there was a guy in Remo's team in season 2...forgetting his name now...he was a ballet dancer and actually had excellent posture, grace, everything...Sanam lacks that.

Raghav on the other hand is like this born performer...you put him in any situation and he lights it up...it's inherent body language...Sanam basically is the difference b/w a dancer and a performer...the latter is what X-factor is all about.

I think Raghavs expressions are what makes the promo so amazing!
And yes, it is obvious that Raghav will be better than Sanam in his forte, but no offense to Sanam he isnt very strong in his own forte let alone another style.
And the whole dance cannot be slow motion so we will see how both do the other style (most likely bollywood).

Word. It's not about the style of dance, it's about that performance quality. The quality that makes you stand out from the rest. X-factor in other words. Raghav's got tons of it, whereas Sanam doesn't. He needs more work and guidance.

And no Sanam isn't great at his own style either. Raghav has made every other style he has tried work, simply because of his ability to pull off characters and express fully to the music. He may not be a pro at all dance styles (obviously), but he makes his effort believable. It's mostly his creative sense, the personality he brings on stage and his ability to feel the music that makes him stand out. The uniqueness of his dance style is an added bonus.

I agree with Sanam not being graceful enough with his own style too. Shashank from last season was way better. His body language is majorly awkward NO matter what the dance style. He doesn't have the flow or the sharpness. Personality/expressive ability toh door ki baat hai. Raghav has that CLEAR sharpness, where we can make out exactly what his dance step is.

I just want to say...that there are very few dancers who have this PATIENCE while dancing. That ability to really hold the moments. And INTENSIFY those moments. Raghav has that ability with his dance style. Because it's in slow motion. The uniqueness of this style blows me away because of it's ability to express so much. It's not just another hip-hop style..there is something SOULFUL about it too. And it's the way Raghav performs it too.

Anyways, aside from that...I see even Geeta could not help incorporating Raghav's style into her choreography. :P Quite interesting how choreographers can't help doing this isn't it? I think it's because Raghav's dance style is too inspiring for creative dance minds. :)

This adla-badli round seems interesting otherwise. It might be refreshing to see the different pairings, contexts, and dynamics.
